Sideboard

This is a mid-range Abzan deck that gets creatures out quickly and ends up having them be very powerful in a few turns. This deck is inspired from Jacob Wilson's modern Abzan deck.

First turn Birds of Paradise can lead into Pelt Collector then Voice of Resurgence for turn two. Kitchen Finks can be sacrificed to Desecration Demon to buff the demon each combat step. Dromoka's Command lets you get rid of the -1/-1 counter on Kitchen Finks, letting it use persist many times. Voice of Resurgence can also be sacrificed to Desecration Demon, giving an elemental token as well as a buffed Demon. Gavony Township and Ajani, Mentor of Heroes are used to let the Kitchen Finks use Persist even more times. Lingering Souls is best used to create chump blockers or to buff the elemental token from Voice of Resurgence. Loxodon Smiter is just a bit of a counter to hand hate cards, and it can be used to buff Pelt Collector at a cheap mana cost. The Siege Rhinos are just basic Abzan necessities, giving a 6 health point life swing as well as a huge creature. I put in Path to Exile and Wrath of God to deal with big creatures or large swarms of them.

The sideboard is mostly made up of cards that deal with specific deck types (e.g. Burn, Affinity, etc.). The extra Wrath of Gods are to deal with heavy creature decks, like Elves or Tokens. The Inquisition of Kozileks are used to disrupt control decks, combo decks, or even ramp decks. They can be favourably replaced with Thoughtseizes if you can afford to pay the extra money. The Maelstrom Pulses are just to have more removal in case of problematic cards.

The non-land cards shouldn't be more than $150 all together, but the lands increase the price a lot. If you want to build this deck but don't want to spend too much money, the lands can be easily replaced by cheaper options or just basic lands. As well, to make the deck less expensive, the Path to Exiles can be replaced by cheaper removal (Grasp of Darkness, Ultimate Price, Doom Blade, etc.). The Wrath of Gods can be replaced by other board wipes (Languish, End Hostilities, etc.). The Birds of Paradises can be replaced by Elvish Mystics or Llanowar Elves, however the Birds of Paradise are more useful if you can stomach the cost. The Voice of Resurgences are a bit expensive, but they are vital to the deck's function and shouldn't be replaced. Ajani, Mentor of Heroes can be taken out for budget reasons, but I enjoy having him in the deck.

I hope you enjoy the deck should you choose to build it.
