"Relax Charlie, I've got an angle."

This deck aims at controlling a long grinding game through heavy interaction and amasses large amounts of mana with rocks and dorks, as well as aggressively tutoring for our "lieutennant", Seedborn Muse. Heavy Metal is built with layered combo pieces capable of early game wins through Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal , running timetwister loops using Praetor's Grasp to exile opponent's libraries, or Thassa's Oracle and Demonic Consultation, and if all else fails we swing in with a massive Finale of Devastation; All of which function very well on their own to propel our plan forward.

Thrasios, Triton Hero/Silas Renn, Seeker Adept is the preferred choice for our gameplan over Tasigur because we have no interest in a political control game. Our plan is to gain advantage quickly and combo off early, or maintain that advantage to grind out the long game. Thrasios, Triton Hero is our infinite mana outlet, and Silas Renn, Seeker Adept can be used to either re-acquire artifact pieces from our graveyard, act as a deathtouch blocker to dissuade incoming creature assaults in the long game, or be targeted by Eldritch Evolution to grab our Seedborn Muse, which we are aggressively tutoring for.
The main objective is getting Isochron Scepter set up with Dramatic Reversal and draw our deck with Thrasios, Triton Hero.

Finale of Devastation is here to tutor out Seedborn Muse to gain huge card advantage during each of our opponent's turns, or Priest of Titania for mana, or Biomancer's Familiar to increase the number of activations off of Thrasios, or Gilded Drake to deal with troublesome creatures/generals. It also functions as a backup wincon in the event that our Isochron Scepter is exiled, stolen, or simply don't feel like fishing it out with Silas.
