You could try running some wheel effects, I feel like in Mardu wheel type effects (ie: Reforge the Soul, Incendiary Command, Wheel of Fate )can be exactly what you are looking for. It combos very well if you have Smothering Tithe out and you could run Living Death for a huge effect on the battlefield, as your creatures are probably bigger and badder than most, late game.

My best advice is to get your hands on Vilis, Broker of Blood , Razaketh, the Foulblooded , and a Phyrexian Arena . More rocks for mana acceleration and lowering the mana curve of your deck by focusing on things that give you as much bang for your buck as possible would also be highly advised. I see you're not running Thundermaw Hellkite , for example. I'd recommend that at least.

Running more creatures in general might be just what you need... especially with the Strionic Resonator being a thing. I don't run that or any extra combat cards, but I still run 33 in the 99. Only three of them are not ADD. One of those three is Kaalia, Zenith Seeker . She's a one-and-done, but combos well with Phyrexian Reclamation or Reya Dawnbringer and a sac outlet. Speaking of sac outlets, another card you might be interested in is Carnage Altar . Someone's trying to exile your Avacyn? Sac her and draw a card in response, so you can bring her back later. Better than the alternative, at least.

Another thing about running sac outlets is that Angel of Serenity works quite well with them. The funny thing about how her effect is worded is that if she's removed in any way while her exile trigger is on the stack, her second trigger resolves while there are still no creatures to return, causing it to fizzle and the targets to be exiled for good. Fun times.

But anyways i do agree the extra combat cards might be worth to take out for more creatures, I was always thinking about adding Vilis and taking put Indulgent Tormentor since I would get more value off of Vilis, but the extra combat cards are a better choice to take out, thanks. I do like strionic resonator a lot in the deck usually its helpful whenever i see it but that is just personal experience. And i did have Zenith Seeker in my deck but decided to take it out for the vampiric tutor since I would rather see the card i want than a a random chance at card(s). And i can probably take out something like planar cleansing which is just expensive mana wise and less useful than merciless eviction for phyrexian reclamation. Thanks for those suggestions, definitely gave me ideas

Didn't see the arena, lol. That said, if I ever need a Planar Cleansing effect, I like using Hour of Revelation in the deck. It's a very underused card in my opinion. Food for thought, just in case. =3

I like what you're doing here, I have a very similar deck I'm working on at the moment that I'm just acquiring the last cards for this week. I see some similarities between our decks, barring a few different choices I made based on certain cards already being in another deck I've made and not wanting to double up, and for price reasons lol.

Have a look at it and see if anything in there peaks your interest.

Wings of Subjugation (Kaalia EDH)

Sounds like you need more card draw to help keep it from running outta gas so quick. Wheels would help.

This is a very nice Kaalia of the Vast build. Quite possibly one of the best I've seen on the site actually. Well done. I notice quite a few similarities with my own build Fear, Faith, and Fury. I think the only difference really being mine is possibly a bit more defensive while yours is a bit more offensive.

I played a game last night where I was able to steal an opponents Bolas's Citadel with my Hellkite Tyrant and then proceeded to win the game with it because I already had my own Necropotence in play. Great combo those two. Now begins the painstaking process of deciding what to cut from my list to add a Bolas's Citadel.

A couple cards you're running I've been wanting to playtest myself (Liesa, Forgotten Archangel / Lyra Dawnbringer / Sower of Discord / Utvara Hellkite) how's your experience been with these? Have you found them to be worth a slot in the deck?

Now some recommendations if I may... you seem to be running quite a few cards that will protect Kaalia of the Vast, but one vital one your missing is Robe of Stars. This is essentially a repeatable Teferi's Protection specially for your commander, and with the amount of ramp cards you have, shouldn't ever be an issue to activate. Seems like you may be somewhat lacking in card draw (personal preference probably, I tend to run more than most ppl), but some additions you might like Harvester of Souls / Indulgent Tormentor / Syphon Mind / The Immortal Sun. I also noticed in a previous comment you removed some extra combat spells, but some nice extra combat on a stick would come in the form of Scourge of the Throne.

unstable_anomaly Liesa, Lyra, and Sower of Discord have been wonderful for me the only card I havent had much luck with us Utvara but that's mainly because I usually never get it but I'm also never in the state where I want to Tutor for him cause there are better options. I did run the extra combat cards but opted out for more creatures, but I would recommend Aggravated Assault + Dragon Mage + Smothering Tithe for extra combat shenanigans I did it once and it was very fun. I also ran Indulgent Tormentor, Syphon Mind, and Harvestor of Souls but tried without them and added more tutors, I found it felt better consistently but at that point it's more about luck than if one way is better than the other. Never tried Immortal Sun or Robe of Stars in the deck but they actually seem really good. I'll definitely check them out and this deck is my favorite deck so I also did a long comment
