Sideboard

My early take on Jund following MH2's release:

  • Essentially a Lurrus companion deck with Dark Confidant and Dreadhorde Arcanist providing card advantage and recursion
  • Ragavan can apply early pressure and provide quick mana, and later in the game provide card advantage
  • Ignoble Hierarch fixes our mana but as importantly provides exalted for our usually unblockable Dauthi Voidwalker
  • Kroxa to finish the job from distance or in combat
  • The deck relies a lot on discard and removal to clear the way for ragavan and our other small creatures
  • Wrenn and Six helps on the longer match ups
  • Playing only 18 lands, Abundant Harvest is a formidable mana fixing tool in early game, and filters those lands late game, whilst filing our graveyard for Kroxa

In early testing the deck performed really well, scoring 8-0 against Lantern, UB control, Ad Nauseum, Elves, Jund, UR Prowess, Tron, and WB stoneforge decks, with very few losses (3 out of the 19 games).
