This is a mid-tier deck. Only use if you know your playgroup plays ~$120-$240 decks. Before playing, make sure you have excellent rapport with your playgroup. During the beginning of the game, let everyone know you play counterspells so that they will ask you for help when other players cast big threats to the whole table. Use your charisma to keep people from attacking you out of revenge, and use your modest board state to show that other players are more of a threat. Then, when two opponents are down and the last aggro player standing is about to swing out at you next turn, hit em with the Platinum Angel. Protect it with endless counterspell advantage from cards like The Magic Mirror and Clear the Mind. Make your group loathe the color blue for many weeks to come.

Note, I added Counterbalance because of the fun factor and the Dayyum moment it may make, but at the end of the day, you may want to swap this out for something more effective like Ugin, the Spirit Dragon, since it is actually guaranteed to do some damage, and it is only six dollars more than Counterbalance
