The usual seafaring rogues. Use the disruptive abilities of the pirates to ruin opponents plans while swinging in for consistent damage. A good combo is fathom fleet captain + dire fleet poisoner to get rid of 2 blockers with 1 attacker and use siren's ruse to reactivate abilities and draw cards whilst saving a pirate. With both hostage taker and merchant raiders on the field it is not hard to commandeer the game when using siren's ruse.
