Perrie from the Bedecked Brokers pre-con dreamed of a world where all the weird counters in magic history could be united in a horrific amalgamation. Although his pre-con suffered from relatively few unique counters, his dream can be fully realized within this deck.

This deck loves unique counters, it loves them so much that nearly every card that can make a counter makes one that no other card in the deck does leading to 60 unique counters able to be produced by this deck. A greater priority was given to cards that make counters that will stick by your side for the long hall none of those lame Lore counters from Saga`s that go away after a few turns or from cards with Cumulative upkeeps that do give you Age counters but could become suddenly unaffordable and they'll go out for cigarettes but never come back. Now when you sit down to play magic you can very smugly pull out your massive pile of handmade counters (Because trust me it can get confusing) and sift through them every turn. If you like that idea then this deck is for your tormented soul.

The deck is simple, and in all honesty, is not as optimized as a turn 1 Ad Nauseum but it is definitely charging full force ahead on its unique counter creation. The game plan is easy, play anything that will make a counter you don`t already have (Which is laughably easy) then roll out the red carpet for Perrie and let him loose each turn. You may ask, what about defence - well don't worry about it, your opponents will be so afraid of your army of random counters they will be too afraid to try anything against you as they won't really be sure if your counters will form a massive mech and fight back if they tried to hurt you (They won't but it's nice to dream).

Within the deck are the following counters in alphabetical order: +0/+1, +1/+0, +1/+1, -0/-1, -1/-0, -1/-1, Arrow, Brick, Charge, Component, Credit, Deathtouch, Depletion, Divinity, Double Strike, Feather, Filibuster, First Strike, Flood, Flying, Fuse, Gem, Growth, Hatchling, Healing, Hexproof, Hoofprint, Ice, Indestructible, Isolation, Javelin, Judgement, Lifelink, Lore, Magnet, Matrix, Menace, Night, Page, Pain, Palliation, Point, Reach, Shield, Sleight, Slumber, Spore, Storage, Suspect, Time, Tower, Training, Trample, Treasure, Valor, Verse, Vigilance, Vitality, Vow and Voyage.

I was also surprised to see a Cum counter but you never know with magic. Made you look didn't I, well there might not be a Cum counter but there are 60 whole unique tokens you get to potentially slap onto the board and proudly look out upon them like Mufasa showing Simba their kingdom.

This deck also has made exceptions to cut cards that are without a doubt superior to cards that cost an affordable amount of mana and most importantly make some sort of counter that - probably- isn't in the deck already.

Well as I stated some of the counters are repeated but I did that with a clear conscience, the counters that are doubled up either appear within cards that involve the placement of multiple counters (Such as Crystalline Giant, Vivien, Monsters' Advocate or Agent's Toolkit) which means they pack a mean punch of a multitude of counter hitting the battlefield, or they are charge counters from the charge lands as well as Gavel of the Righteous but I couldn`t just deprive Perrie of his hammer so in it stays. You will also notice +1/+1 counters are plentiful but I have a feeling no one will mind Perrie hitting the gym a few times before he attacks and gets the additional power boost.

A note about Palliation Accord, it says it uses "Shield Counters" but fear not! Wizards in their infinite wisdom of introducing another Shield counter into the game changed the token to "Palliation" counters, which is perfect for this deck. Also, Life Matrix says to use a generic counter, but those counters are actually called .... DRUMROLL... "Matrix" counters! Which we love to see.

If you find any fun counters and feel they could replace any card in the deck, by all means, leave a comment with the card and what it should replace and there is a very high chance the card will appear on the deck list as if by magic!
