I've had this mono-green deck since 2012. It has undergone many changes, but I’ve always maintained the theme of cramming as many big dudes onto the board as possible. It was Yeva, Nature's Herald from 2012-2014, then Polukranos, World Eater from 2014-2018, and now Ghalta since Feb 2018.

It's nice to get our commander out early, but I’m not trying to race out a turn-3 Ghalta like other decks. We just want the 2-mana 12/12 so we can cast a big draw spell! Sacrificing Ghalta isn't a drawback at all since we will be able to unload more creatures and cast him again for only GG. There are plenty of ways to keep all the cards you draw including Reliquary Tower, (Crop Rotation, Ulvenwald Hydra, Sylvan Scrying), and Thought Vessel. Or, you can just play them all by building up devotion for Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx!

Favorite card in deck: Ram Through is stupid in here omg.
