$150 Budget Titan-Valakut

Modern

Sasajiro

Sideboard

Instead of Scapeshift, utilize powerful cards such as Boundless Realms, an Entwined Rude Awakening, the monster that is Prime Time, or Kessig Wolf Run to kill your opponent all while unleashing ever prevalent bolts from Valakut.

This is a deck for those that want to experience Titanshift but are not in a position to purchase Scapeshifts. Fortunately, much of this deck's shell is found in popular Titanshift decklists, so upgrading to that deck fromy this one is simple, if a bit expensive.

Card explanation:

Lands: 2x Blighted Woodland serves the duel pupose of ramping you in the mid game, or turning into two mountains to burst your opponent in the late game. If you are against a slower deck, you can Hour of Promise for 1 Valakut and one of these for extra, albeit delayed, damage.

4x Cinder Glade/1x Sheltered Thicket: The two basic land types lets you more easily cast your spells while still fulfilling Valakut's requirements.

1x Kessig Wolf Run: Tutor for it to trample through blockers with your Titan.

4x Forests/11x Mountains: To keep the deck relatively budget, this runs an arbitrarily large amount of basics. A significant amount of mountains is required to burst your opponent with boundless Realms.

4x Valakut: Primary win condition, and the reason for the large amount of mountains.

Creatures:

4x Sakura-tribe Elder allow you to ramp while acting like a pseudo fog. Block a creature then sac the Elder will be an action you will do a lot with this deck.

4x Primeval Titan: Land Tutor on a beater. Finding Kessig Wolf Run lets you kill through a Crumble to Dust on Valakut, or just allow you to fulfill Valakut's requirements.

Sorceries: 2x Anger give you main board ways to interact with your opponents creatures while not killing your Titans.

4x Boundless Realms/3x Rude Awakenings: Your decks finishers, and the main way to kill after Valakut is active.

Explore/Farseek/Hour/Search: Ramp spells. Nothing much to add.

Instant:

4x Bolt: Kill pesky creatures, or finish off your opponent. No reason not to run 4 since this deck is heavy in red.

Sideboard is meta dependent.
