Rev up those white mana symbols! Light from Within is costlier than your average Crusade
, but if you build your deck right it can provide much more impressive gains. All-stars like Knight of Meadowgrain and Serra Avenger - already well worth playing - receive a hefty +2/+2 bonus. Others like Healer's Flock, meanwhile, go from "good" to "great" when they get a staggering +3/+3 on curve. Who says white can't do fatties!
If you're going all-in on white, what else does the colour do best? Lifegain! You're featuring a staggering twelve creatures with lifelink, and have strong incentive to run Linden, the Steadfast Queen if you're aiming to maximize devotion. Might as well capitalize on all those little bits of lifegain - Voice of the Blessed is a more colour-heavy Ajani's Pridemate that quickly becomes a flying behemoth, and Heliod, Sun-Crowned will hand out counters however you see fit while very easily becoming a creature thanks to your focus on devotion.
