Maybeboard

Most Obnoxious Land Destruction Deck

This deck was originally all about destroying lands (and pretty much nothing else), but that doesn't make a good multiplayer deck. When an opponent plays a land, I cast Rain of Tears to take it out; then my other two opponents play their lands, and I change my name to Sisyphus.

So I have tweaked this deck to destroy multiple targets at once, including mana rocks, then bringing my lands back with Crucible of Worlds. From the Ashes clears the field of nonbasics, but Ankh of Mishra and Invader Parasite are sitting there ready to punish players for grabbing replacement lands.

Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth makes any land a target for Spreading Algae, and Tectonic Instability helps cycle the LD.

Alas

I have trimmed this deck a lot. First I compiled all the cards I wanted to use; then I cut out the mediocre ones. Then I made a second and a third trimming before asking other users for help. Over thirty more cards were cut, that I could even create a second commander deck with those thirty and my Maybeboard. A two-headed giant game using all the cards I originally considered? Crazy. The Maybeboard are the cards that really still want in this deck, and I don't want to clear away in case I decide to use them in the future.
