Deck strategy

The deck is meant for multiplayer games in a semi-competitive group. The strategy is to land an early creature to deal damage to let us cast Rakdos, Lord of Riots and pop off the same turn or next turn with a discounter (i.e. Flame Rift for 8-12 mana discount) followed by any of the high impact cards in the deck. We also run many 2-3 cost creatures that provide excellent value while being enables for Rakdos via direct hits. Running a tutorable infinite combo if we struggle to end the game with our higher tempo cards. We run a lot of discard and draw cards with some reanimation. There is anti-synergy with Kozilek, Butcher of Truth and Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre shuffling the graveyard back in, but I don't care. Not running Emrakul, the Promised End because it's not fun to play against. The deck can easily be converted to a low budget version if you cut the fetches, Eldrazi, and Wheel of Fortune.

Rakdos enablers

We run a bunch of cheap cards to ping our opponents to reliably drop Rakdos on curve. We also include a lot of 2-3 mana creatures that are aggressive and provide value (i.e. Mindblade Render) to also do the job.

Finishers

We primarily win by dropping early Eldrazi or high-value creatures to overwhelm the table. We also have an infinite combo that is easily tutorable: Discounted Ancestral Statue + Terror of the Peaks/Impact Tremors/Nettle Drone.
