Update —March 5, 2018

Removed the Doubling Season and added the last Collected Company and 3x Path to Exile to give the deck more edge. Hope this makes the deck stronger and overall more rounded off.

Would highly recommend taking out Canopy Vista and 2 plains and 2 forests for 2 Cavern of Souls and 4 Unclaimed Territory

Zelpoke I was actually thinking of using 2x Cavern of Souls so I'm happy you suggested that. I already own 4 Unclaimed Territory I just haven't really tested them out yet. Once I save enough for the cavern I'll add those bad boys in. Thank you!

Horizon Canopy is a very good land in your colors you could run a few of those.

Collected Company is a pretty powerfull spell but you really dont want to have too many non creature spells or creatures, so id get rid of all 5 drops they are to slow anyway and its hard for you to ever reach 5 mana with 20 lands. You could also cut the Birds then and play a few more kittys

You could play 4 Vial and 4 CoCo

Hey friend, sweet deck here. Highly recommend Heroic Intervention, since you get wrekt by sweepers, so I'm glad to see it in your SB. Also, I'm not sure the DSeason will be as "competitive" as it will be a cute combo with your 'walkers. So if you're trying to win a tournament, 4x Paths would be better in that slot. Otherwise, it looks like a really strong deck! Good luck brewing!

I think Coat of Arms is preferable to Doubling Season. While Doubling Season is powerful, and one of the more broken cards ever printed, it does not generally influence the board the turn it is dropped, which is a bit less ideal in very aggressive decks. If you play against numerous other tribal decks, Vanquisher's Banner is a pretty strong substitute.

Couple other useless pieces of information:

  • I enjoy Birds of Paradise in this deck far more than I should. I cannot shake the idea that your cats are eating the birds, stealing their mana for early casting.

  • A swarm of cats is called a "glaring," which is a wonderfully apt term, considering how the species has mastered that adorable look of contempt for all things that live.

landofMordor Thanks and I think for when I want a more competitive edge I will work with the 4 paths because honestly this deck has gotten pretty crazy on many occasions and I've gotten plenty of creatures out on the field without doubling season. I'll just be keeping it on hand for when I want to experience super fun feeling of insane creatures and counters.

cdkime I will definitely look into those two cards because they seem to have great synergy with this deck. Your side comments made me laugh as well! Especially the birds comment. Thank you!
