My Jund Shadow decklist for modern, using the new hotness Scourge of the Skyclaves .

The goal of the deck is to leverage early controlling cards to fill both yours and your opponent's graveyard while losing life through shocks and fetches to power up your big threats. Goyf grows on the graveyard being diverse which has always been synergistic with black discard spells, and both Shadow and Scourge thrive on low life totals. Hexdrinker is an efficient early beater to lower your opponent's life total in preparation for Scourge later in the game. Ideally you would want to run Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer and change the mana further into RB to insulate against Blood Moon and because Ragavan is a busted card. Since every permanent in the deck costs 2 mana or less, Lurrus of the Dream-Den is a free source of recursion, taking only a SB slot to enable.
