Modular built Grixis Marchesa. Go aggro and aristocrats, using the modular keyword to continually recur modular artifact creatures. Metalcraft subtheme. The wincons are combat damage with beefed up artifact creatures, along with ETB and Dies triggered pincers. Impact Tremors, Purphoros, God of the Forge, Zulaport Cutthroat, Bastion of Remembrance, and The Meathook Massacre provide your triggered pings.

For card draw engines, we've got Skullclamp with a sac outlet to draw 2 and get any creature with counters back out of the yard. Midnight Reaper let's us draw 1 on creature death, and gains undying from Mikaeus, the Unhallowed helping it stick around. Furthermore, his life loss attached to the card helps ensure you can get Dethrone triggers by keeping your life total out of the top spot. Mulldrifter evoked with Mikaeus out becomes draw 4 for 3 mana, as Mully gets Undying and returns with a +1 counter. If Marchesa is in play with a sac outlet, you can sac it again and on end step it returns, making it a draw 6 for 3 further. With Mikaeus and Marchesa out, you can draw 4 every single turn using Mully with a sac outlet. Sygg, River Cutthroat is a great draw engine at any table, as it essentially draws you cards each end step for the game advancing.

Vedalken Humiliator is a bit of a gem here. In between Dethrone and Undying, you're almost guaranteed to keep him around. Turning all of your opponent's creatures into 1/1's lets you pick them off with Goblin Bombardment, The Meathook Massacre, and Toxic Deluge with ease while making trades in combat go purely in your advantage.

Glen Elendra Archmage with both Persist and Undying becomes a counterspell engine. It will always return to the field immediately allowing you to Negate provided you've got 1 blue mana.

Mycosynth Golem provides a fat beater while giving your modular creatures affinity. You're never casting the golem at full cost, and you're going to be dumping modular creatures from hand once it's out.

The Ozolith has some neat interaction in this deck, where modular creatures dying cause an artifact creature and the Ozolith to gain the dead creature's +1 counters. This helps you protect your human creatures and create large beaters. It also allows commander damage kills to come fast and hard.
