Commander / EDH* Counters GU (Simic) Proliferate Superfriends

Overview

This Deck focuses on using the abilities of Pir, Imaginative Rascal, and a handful of other cards to rapidly increase the number +1/+1 counters on creatures and loyalty counters on Planeswalkers. It also contains a card draw subtheme, which is used to buff Toothy, Imaginary Friend, and trigger win-cons by self milling. This is my first try at a competitive EDH deck, and I'd love any feedback I could get to improve and optimize it!

+1/+1 Threats

Creatures such as Toothy, Imaginary Friend, Stonecoil Serpent, Chasm Skulker, and some Hydras can amass a large number of +1/+1 counters extremely quickly thanks to the many cards in the deck that double or add additional counters to them. Master Biomancer, Doubling Season, and Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider are a few examples of some of the most powerful ways this deck can create a large number of +1/+1's quickly and are accompanied by other smaller cards that can boost counters cheaply and/or at instant speed.

Planeswalkers

With all of these counter-increasing abilities, there's no reason not to have some Planeswalkers! Almost all of the Planeswalkers in the deck can use their ultimate on the turn they're placed onto the battlefield if Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider or Doubling Season is on the table, and many of them also create emblems whose effects can be game-winning, such as that of Vivien Reid.

Win Conditions

This deck has many ways of winning that all have a lot of overlap, which keeps options open. Toothy, Imaginary Friend can be boosted up to a 21/21 fairly quickly if he isn't dealt with immediately, gaining the ability to one-shot opponents with commander damage. At this point, opponents will definitely try to kill Toothy as fast as possible, which plays well into one of the deck's other win cons, self-milling. Cards like Jace, Wielder of Mysteries, Thassa's Oracle, and Laboratory Maniac can all give an easy victory without needing to worry about getting through the walls of defenses other players may have built. Simic Ascendancy is another extremely powerful win con in this deck. If one +1/+1 counter is added to a creature with Pir, Imaginative Rascal on the battlefield, a second +1/+1 counter will be made by Pir, adding 2 growth counters to Ascendancy, plus a third counter from Pir, meaning only around 10 +1/+1 counters need to be created for Simic Ascendancy to have enough counters to win the game.
