Sideboard

This is my take on a Superfriends deck. I don't really like blue and I don't have many of the blue shock and check lands, so that's why I built Mardu Superfriends. The deck gets a great cast of planeswalkers and removal. The deck's goal is to use the removal spells to keep the board fairly empty while building up an army of planeswalkers and tokens to win the game with. Let me know what you think!

Saheeli, Sublime Artificer produces a servo every time we cast a card. Her -2 ability can be used to change a servo into another creature we control as well.

Davriel, Rogue Shadowmage helps us get rid of cards in our opponent's hand and his static ability starts dealing damage once our opponent has one or less cards in hand.

Gideon Blackblade is basically a creature who can give another creature vigilance, lifelink or indestructible every turn. After we plus a couple of times we can exile a nonland permanent, if we need to.

Chandra, Fire Artisan gives us card draw and deals damage damage too.

Liliana, Dreadhorde General makes creatures, gets rid of creatures and her ultimate is ridiculous. Her static ability is also great.

Lastly the all star planeswalker of the deck, Sarkhan the Masterless . He makes all of our planeswalkers 4/4 dragons, which is obviously a huge payoff for a deck like this. If there aren't any planeswalkers on the field, he just makes a 4/4 dragon to protect himself with.

Oath of Kaya is a nice removal spell and it also penalizes our opponent for attacking our planeswalkers. If they choose to not attack the planeswalkers, they end up paying for it later when we make them 4/4 dragons and hit them in the face.

Lava Coil allows us to exile pesky creatures and most importantly hits for 4 damage. I had considered playing Scorching Dragonfire because it's an instant and also hits planeswalkers. The problem is there are some creatures that cause problems that have 4 toughness. The big ones are Spawn of Mayhem , Questing Beast , Nightpack Ambusher and Shifting Ceratops among others.

Mortify removes any creature and it can hit enchantments, which is an added bonus. I expect to see Prison Realm and Conclave Tribunal among other enchantments, especially against a deck like this.

Murderous Rider gets creatures and planeswalkers. It also gives us a 2/3 with lifelink that we can copy with Saheeli's -2.

Kaya's Wrath is a nice board wipe and we can gain a couple life, if we have creature tokens on the board

Sideboard:

Aurelia, Exemplar of Justice provides a nice blocker for flyers and is also a 4/5 attacker. Our opponents will likely side out there creature removal after game 1, since we only have the 3 Murderous Rider s in the main and this will hopefully allow for Aurelia to stay on the field.

Disenchant is solid artifact and enchantment removal. Since I took out Bedevil , this is a way to still hit artifacts and it's a cheaper way to remove enchantments than Mortify .

Duress is here mainly for the Esper Stax decks and the Jeskai Superfriends/Fires decks. I'm not sure if having this in the sideboard is correct or not.

Flame Sweep is a cheaper and easier to cast board wipe than Kaya's Wrath . Its also an instant, which is relevant. It's most effective against the Golos, Tireless Pilgrim and Field of the Dead decks. I had considered Deafening Clarion in this slot, but the third point of damage doesn't seem overly important and we're almost never going to use the lifelink effect. Again Deafening Clarion is a sorcery and Flame Sweep is an instant. I could be wrong here and if the third point of damage becomes relevant, I'll make the switch.

Kaya's Wrath gives a fourth unconditional board wipe, if we really need it.

Noxious Grasp is a great removal spell right now. It hits almost every creature and planeswalker in the Bant and Simic decks. We're talking about Hydroid Krasis , Teferi, Time Raveler , Oko, Thief of Crowns , Nissa, Who Shakes the World , Garruk, Cursed Huntsman , all of wolves and the list goes on.

The sideboard is definitely a work in progress. I think Noxious Grasp is a must have. The rest of the sideboard could fluctuate. Disenchant and Duress may not be as relevant as I think and could get replaced with something else. As I mentioned, Deafening Clarion could also end up being the better 3 mana board wipe.

Updates Add

With the release of Throne of Eldraine and the standard rotation that comes with it, I had to make some changes to the deck.

Sadly we lose all of the check lands with rotation. These were replaced with Bloodfell Caves, Temple of Triumph and Temple of Silence.

Bedevil was replaced with Murderous Rider. Destroying artifacts doesn't seem super relevant and Murderous Rider still requires double black, but doesn't require us to have red. We also get a 2/3 life linker as an added bonus.

The sideboard also saw some changes with rotation. See the deck description above for the breakdown on the sideboard.
