Yarok, the Desecrated is all about Enter the Battlefield abilities, or any other triggers that take place during an ETB. With this in mind, I built Yarok with Landfall triggers and card draw as the main themes for this deck. I got the inspiration for this deck from Zclan7 who helped me put most of this deck together. I really liked the idea of bouncing cards from the battlefield to my hand and back to the battlefield, and this commander just gives so much value for all of the ETB triggers.
So I'm still learning how to play this deck, but from the testing I've done so far, it's really easy to get a lot of lands out in a few turns with some cards like Oracle of Mul Daya and Courser of Kruphix , which allow you to draw so many lands from the top of your library. These lands also trigger our Landfall abilities, such as Tatyova, Benthic Druid which will draw you more cards, which lead to more lands, and just becomes a huge card and land draw engine. There are a few other Landfall abilities that can be triggered, and with Yarok on the battlefield, it will double all of these triggers, and just provides so much value, and we love value.

Another big theme of this deck is blinking your creatures with strong ETB triggers and if you have Yarok, the Desecrated , you get double the value when it blinks back to the battlefield. We have plenty of cards that really benefit from blinking out and back, such as Mulldrifter , that could potentially draw us 8 cards if we have our commander out. Some really nice blink cards I like to use include Essence Flux , which is a nice 1 drop instant, and Shrieking Drake , which is also a really good 1 drop creature that can also return itself if our commander is out. There are some other blink card instants that do very similar things. One somewhat different blink card is Deadeye Navigator that can allow you to blink any creature you soulbind it to for only , which can be done multiple times in one turn. Now that is a lot of value.

For this deck, the main win conditions come from Thassa's Oracle or Laboratory Maniac , which essentially want you to mill your entire library, which will just let you win (as long as you have those cards out). The main combo that would let you mill your library is first to have Beast Whisperer or Staff of Domination out on your battlefield, then you have to get infinite mana using Cloud of Faeries + Shrieking Drake + Yarok, the Desecrated . Once you go infinite, you'll have either drawn your library with Beast Whisperer because every time you cast Cloud of Faeries and Shrieking Drake you draw a card, or you can use your infinite mana with Staff of Domination and draw a card, then untap Staff, then draw a card, again and again. As long as you have either Thassa's Oracle or Laboratory Maniac out, you win.
