Deck changes!

-1 Ghost Quarter
+1 Buried Ruin
-2 Warping Wail SB
-2 Spellskite SB
+3 Surgical Extraction SB
+1 Trinisphere SB

After a devastating loss to Storm, I decided to throw in Surgicals and Trinisphere into the SB. Funny enough, the week I side in with Storm hate is the week I don't play against Storm at all.

Round 1: Mardu Nahiri (2-0)
- Game 1: I had nat Tron by turn 4, and I cast a turn 5 Ulamog, exiling their Nahiri and their only black source. It was a quick scoop afterwards.
- SB: -4 Matter Reshaper, -1 Dismember, +1 Pithing Needle, +2 Ratchet Bomb, +2 Relic of Progenitus
- Game 2: Turn 2, my opponent sac'd his Ghost Quarter to pop my Urza's Tower, and he cast Surgical Extraction following. Chalice on 1 kept me stable, however, as I played fair for the rest of the game and got my beats in with TKS for the victory.

Round 2: Ad Nauseam (2-0)
- Game 1: He dropped a Lotus Bloom turn 2, so the following turn I dropped my Chalice for 0 instead of the usual 1. After a fizzled Lotus Bloom and a few Matter Reshapers and a Reality Smasher to the face, he cast Spoils of the Vault digging for Angel's Grace, only to take more life than he had.
- SB: +1 Trinisphere, +1 Pithing Needle, -1 Dismember, -1 All is Dust
- Game 2: Game ran a little slower with only one Matter Reshaper going in. As I dropped Chalice for 1, he cast Spoils of the Vault in response but couldn't find his Phyrexian Unlife, killing himself again in the process.

Round 3: B/G Tron (0-2)
- Game 1: Opponent accidentally Mapped for a Power Plant instead of a Tower, giving me an early start. However, the lucky Tower draw let him stabilize, eventually putting down his Oblivion Stone and Ulamog.
- SB: +2 Surgical Extraction, +1 Pithing Needle -1 Dismember, -1 All is Dust, -1 Ugin
- Game 2: Mulled to 5. I had a Chalice out for 1, keeping him off his rocks and Ancient Stirrings, but I couldn't draw into any of my own gas, eventually leading to another Ulamog on his end that I couldn't deal with.

Round 4: Abzan Company (2-0)
- Game 1: I had a nut hand of two Chalices, two Tron pieces, and an Expedition Map. I drew another Chalice and I shut down his board by turn 5 with three Chalices on 1, 2, and 3.
- SB: -1 Chalice, -4 Matter Reshaper, -1 Karn, +2 Surgical Extraction, +1 Ulamog, +1 Pithing Needle, +2 Spatial Contortion
- Game 2: I TKS'd away his Archangel of Thune, taking away his inf/inf creatures for the time being. I got him down to 7 life when he Company'd to get a Kitchen Finks and a Qasali Pridemage on my end step. On his turn, he popped the Pridemage to destroy my Chalice on 1, allowing him to cast Viscera Seer and went to infinite life with the Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit he had out. I kept his board in check with Endbringers and Ballistas, and once I eventually found Ulamog and swung with him the following turn, I exiled away the only other Archangel he had in his deck and milled him out the following turn.
