If you have 1 Shadowborn Apostle in hand and the other 39 in the deck, and you play the apostle with Thrumming Stone out, the most likely outcome is that you will end up playing every Shadowborn Apostle in your deck. With Ayara, First of Locthwain, Bontu's Monument, or Aetherflux Reservoir out this turns into leathal damage.

Beyond that, Plague of Vermin can just win the game on the spot with Ayara out, and the deck has a few tutor targets for situations when you really need them, such as Damnation to clear a board, Vraska's Contempt to kill an annoying planeswalker or creature with indestructable, or Elixir of Immortality to reset your graveyard if you end up with too many apostles in the graveyard.
