A Gruul EDH deck with only 17 creatures. Yeah its crazy, just crazy enough to work.

Here's the deal. It's overlooked that green has a lot of instants available to protect itself pretty well in a multiplayer game. Rosheen Meanderer is also a fairly non-threatening commander to have sitting out. that is, until you have 16 land, any one of the many ways to double or boost a X-cost spell or hydra, and one of those in your hand ready to get haste-whipped at someone for 30+ damage. Or, one of the many x-cost red damage spells in this deck, some of which flashback, and one of which goes back into your library when you use it.

Is it a great 1v1 EDH deck? probably not. It needs too much time to build up. But, when it hits it does it incredibly hard and fast.

Is this your father's Gruul deck? No, but damn if it isn't fun to combo your way to a hydra-god-beast from hell.
