This deck is all about throwing out as many spells as possible , then gaining value from those spells through enchantments, artifacts, and creatures.

The main reason this deck exists is to play Thousand-Year Storm and storm off with non-storm cards.

Once we have Thousand-Year Storm out, we'll copy things like Torment of Hailfire and Banefire to close out the game.

If Thousand-Year Storm is removed, we have a multitude of alternate payoffs:

These cards will gain some card advantage, whether that be scrying or drawing, each time we cast a spell
These cards will burn our opponents each time we cast a spell
These cards will generate a token every time we cast a spell
While we may not have Thousand-Year Storm , there are other copy abilities. While there are a lot of copy abilities, it is vital to how I want this deck to function that these effects be repeatable in 1 turn. Thus, cards like Fork and Pyromancer's Goggles don't apply to this category

How I am defining the Custom tags

These are cards that draw net 0 card. In other words: if you cast any of the cards in this category, you will have the same amount of cards in your hand after it resolves.
These Cards are similar to +0, however you gain a little more advantage. This is through card selection (i.e. Serum Visions ), generating something beneficial to the deck (i.e. Pirate's Pillage ), or have the potential to generate more advantage (i.e. Chart a Course )
These Cards actually draw net 1 card.
Cards that can find Thousand-Year Storm
Blow up the board
Blow up 1 permanent. This includes counter spells, since they functionally remove 1 card.
Any card that creates recursive mana. (i.e. Dimir Signet , Izzet Signet , Rakdos Signet )
Any Card that creates consumable mana. (i.e. treasures from Pirate's Pillage )
Any card that adds temporary mana too the mana pool.
Spells that do damage based on the X in their mana cost. These gain an enormous benefit from Thousand-Year Storm
These are lands that don't provide more than mana
These are lands that give more than just mana. (i.e. Strip Mine )

Visions of Beyond - > Past in Flames

Past in Flames seems invaluable during the "go off" turn. When goldfishing, Visions of Beyond was never turned on.
