When Commander Legends came first came out I asked my wife which commander she was interested in and she chose Kwain, Itinerant Meddler. At first I was unsure what direction to take the deck other than the obvious, Group hug.

The deck contains a large number of cards that are multilateral card draw such as Vision Skeins and Howling Mine. This can really speed up the game by allowing all players to draw into gas. The key is to try and take the best advantage of this. One method is Laboratory Maniac and Thassa's Oracle. Also Elixir of Immortality works in a pinch to prevent milling myself and hopefully allowing me to outlast my opponents.

The deck also consists of two combos to try blow threw the deck(s) using Kwain, Itinerant Meddler + Mind Over Matter and Mind Over Matter + Temple Bell to pull off the win. Since we are drawing so many cards Shabraz, the Skyshark   and Dream Trawler become massive threats in the air that can pull out a win as well.
