This is not my first adventure into the realm of Stax-Lite/Hatebears/Pillowfort. I ran a particularly brutal Brago/Stasis combo deck for a while. But dropping brago turn 2 into turn 3 Frozen Aether and Stasis was fun for the first time or two, it got very boring, and also got me ganked, just for being in the game. So I'm trying a little bit of a different approach this time. And while there are total lock out combos, I wanted to give people a chance to play magic, while strongly discouraging excessive spellcasting, and attacking me. I decided to use Alela over Zur for a couple reasons. First of which, there are not many >3 CMC Enchantments in the deck overall, and Zur draws hate, and does not come with a potential win-con on board in the Faerie tokens.

I'm trying this deck with 36 lands to start, it's played well so far, but the land count may change in the future. And I've included a couple nonbos in the deck, because I'd only really end up in magical christmas land in a couple games, and not the majority. So most of the time, denying non-basics and shutting off ETB's won't effect my game as much. At least that's the plan right now.
