Simple Introduktion

My own personal goblin deck. Red goblins with a little bit of white.

It's pretty straight forward deck, you play goblins and spells to win. It's a simple and fun deck.

If you want to look for the best starting hand you can win on turn 3 with different cards, but mainly the hand as is shown below.

Hand: 3 Goblin Guide , 2 Lightning Bolt and 3 lands with at least gives 2 red mana symbols and draw a third land.

Turn 1: mountain, play guide and attack = 18 life left Turn 2: mountain, play 2 more guides and attack = 12 life left Turn 3: mountain, attack with guides = 6 life left and then two lightning bolts = 0.

Now a Legion Loyalist can take over for a Goblin Guide and a bolt for a Boros Charm or better Goblin Grenade . This has many ways to end up the same results.

This is a aggro deck and so with some fun interactions. I have never gotten this hand but i do like the deck and it's fun to play with. It's my first personal deck and it's the one that I always have with me to play and in-prove.

Maybe cards are more or less what i am thinking of adding to my deck right now.

I just like to document and this is documentation of my nostalgic deck. Feel free to comment and give new ideas To help.

Changes i have made to the deck:

Removed from Main:

4x Boros Garrison, 2x Evolving Wilds, 4x Guttersnipe, 4x Krenko, Mob Boss and 4x Krenko's Command.

Added to Main:

2x Mountain, 2x Wind-Scarred Crag, 1x Needle Spires, 1x Mana confluence, 2x Mogg War Marshal, 3x Stingscourger, 3x Eidolon of the great revel, 2x collateral damage, 1x Return to the ranks and 1x Goblin Grenade.

Land's

I have taken away slow cards like Boros Garrison and Evolving Wilds. They are doing their purpose of giving me the correct mana and filtering my deck of lands. But they are to slow. Boros Garrison is fun and still one of my favorite lands, but to slow and tho it gives you more mana. It's many times not wort it with out krenko. Evolving Wilds has the problem of coming in tapped and it does not matter at that moment that you lose one from you're deck. It's not enougth. And manly because the deck is almost 85% red. White is in portent put it's not worth it for the speed in a aggro deck and i will still have tapp lands heck i vill bring in tre new one, so there are 7 tapped lands in the deck now. The mountains are for faster plays, you play it early and you play often red so that's simple. but whay two more Wind-Scarred Crag? Well turns out that the one measly life can help you turn things around against other burn decks. and that's nice while it also helps you with the mana base for that last boros and helix. Needle Spires is a late test to see if it can be a savior and make upp that last damage needed to and the game. Man lands are powerful and tho they are expansive to play. I am open to try them.

Creature's

Guttersnipe is good, but i have com to the conclusion that ha can't give me he's full potential. The deck should run more spells for that to happen and that's not where the deck is going. So we have to say good bye. Now to the biggest disappointment Krenko, Mob Boss is out, to slow and when he comes out, he always die's or you have already won. not use less, but many times unplayable. So we have to say good bye to a rely old friends that was the beginning of this deck. But sadly did not make it to the end. But will always be reminded in the beautiful chaos of the goblins of the future. Mogg War Marshal are simply a better Krenko's Command, if you don't pay the echo cost it's fine. You always block with that goblin so it die's or sacrifice it. Som you have have a Krenko's Commandbut with the added bones of having a free block. You do tho get a token you might not be able to attack with the next turn. But it's often okey. Stingscourger is a little bite of control brought in to test drive, late game paying the echo cost is okey, in early game one blocker is gone so one more attack can get in and that's nice. but it is after all a removal spell for 2 witch isn't great. Eidolon of the great revel against burn, storm and everything goes a little bit faster, and you take damage too but it is a small pries to pay.

Sorcery's

Mogg War Marshal is better than Krenko's Command and now when guttersnipe is out of the picture, there is not so much reason to have them. Yeas two goblins on the board but more than that it doesn't help. But Mogg War Marshal gives you one free block or a new goblin when he die's witch makes all the diffrence. Return to the ranks is a new test while we don't have krenko anymore. To go in late game and bring back som gobling guides from the grave or some Legion Loyalist, Mogg War Marshal or Stingscourger later can make you come back in the game. But it is often a 5 spell bring back 3 creatures from you're grave. Not impressive but could be effective.Goblin Grenade Is awsome. I have had my problems to sacrifice goblins but 5 damage to the face does so much and it is totally worth it. Like arms dealer you could do this forever with you're creatures but does so much differences when you do it to the face. Goblins like to see thing burn and they going to burn i stile.

Instant's

i toke collateral damage because i only have one Goblin Grenade and also these works on Eidolon in instant sped. So block and then sacrifice, They take 3 you take non and they can't block with that next turn. you can also sacrifice the ones that becomes blocked. because the are going to die anyway, so lats use there bodies to war if we still can. Yeas that is sick but hey there are goblins what do you expect?


Removed from Sideboard:

2x Arms Dealer and 2x Path of Bravery.

Added to Sideboard:

1x Ash Zealot, 1x Stingscourger and 2x Collateral Damage.

Arms dealer don't do enough and tho they can remove creatures, the cost is to high and only to creatures are a big problem. often you don't wanna go creatures and do you attack with it you lose more than you gain. Goblin Grenade was better all the way. Path of Bravery was good when you already was winning. It did not help you come back and didn't you have a big enough board state. Ash Zealot is against storm and other decks that uses graveyard's. More of a test but she also that she is a 2/2 with hast and First strike is a little bit interesting. And dealing 3 damage for one flashback card is pretty good. Stingscourger and Collateral Damage are more to see what amount i need or want in the deck.


My thoughts of the future:

Jund is getting pretty big in the format and i am considering a Chandra, Torch of Defiance in the sideboard. Because she is a plainswalker she is a little harder to deal with than a creature and at five loyalty she is somewhat protected from Tarmogoyf. But the first +1 ability, Exile the card, play it or remain and deal 2 damage. If it is a land it's to late anyway so stay there and burn. A Bolt, Healix or Boros charm can be cast and speed up the process and that is good. I am also considering more Goblin Rabblemaster because they are always a big threat. They give more fuel to grande and always an aggressive bored. Goblin Bushwhacker is another card i wanna try because he he's kick ability. Makes them stronger at attack the same time they come out witch is interesting to see how much difference i does. Also Kor Firewalker because of other burn decks.
