This deck is intended to completely halt progression from your opponent. It's okay to take a little bit of damage from weenies while you build yourself up. However, Baral has an impressive early game toughness, as well as very useful abilities. A functional reprint of Delay would be lovely, since it's much funnier to watch stuff go into the void and then get eaten up by Teferi himself.

Suspend itself should be limited to when Teferi is in play ideally, since you can focus on other, new threats while the opponent empties their hands in desperation.

As of V2.0 there is no longer a splash of white in the deck. This may come back, but for now I want to focus on harsh red aggressiveness and controlling blue.

Once Teferi is out, and a spell is Suspended, the card cannot resolve, as spells your opponents cast can only be done so at Sorcery speed. Because Suspended cards coming into play happens during upkeep, this means that the card cannot resolve, and is left in limbo forever.

Timebugs are not included in this deck, as they only allow you to target permanents you control that are Suspended, and the general theme is to add time counters, rather than remove them.

"The most likely switch will be to reduce land count, as the suspend cost for cards is so low, and to include the two Pardic Dragons. Also, through Inevitable Betrayal, the opponent can be killed with their own cards."

Land count reduced and both Pardic dragons have been added. They can also be used as bait, as the opponent is going to try hard to play spells to increase the counters on Pardic Dragon. Inevitable Betrayal is still the most likely win condition, alongside the added Pardic Dragons are two Greater Gargadon. This may increase to four in the future, but without flying or trample, the Pardic Dragons seem much better suited. However, a red "steal" spell, mixed with Greater Gargadon's sacrifice outlet is an interesting avenue to explore, possibly in 2.1.

Any comments or recommendations would be most welcome, I own all cards in the "Maybe/Side" collection.

Cheers, & thanks for reading,

Josh.

Relying completely on stalling your opponent and having card advantage isn't enough. If the game has gone long enough for me to be waiting for the Kraken to come out, with the help of my enemy's spells? The game is likely lost. So I've lost the Krakens, and focusing on a more aggressive approach, where I hope to get Pardic Dragon out ASAP and deliver a steady dose of flying damage.

The Description for v 2.0 of the deck has been re-written, and outlines other changes that have been made (such as the removal of White). Further changes are likely to come, possibly with a focus on creature theft, and the use of Greater Gargadon as a sac outlet.
