Sideboard

This deck is vaguely an aristocrats deck with Ghave, Guru of Spores as a commander for some Abzan dominance because instead of just hitting your enemies with the succ, it can also go wide or win with commander damage on your 4th turn if all goes well. So lets break down this deck:

Creature Spells

Mana dorks

  • Birds of Paradise: Fixing for cheap.
  • Leyline Prowler: Fixing that can work as an emergency blocker.
  • Crystalline Crawler: the best mana rock in the deck, it is potentially a free spell if need be that fixes your next spell. It also can be a filter mana in an infinite combo with your commander which will be explained later.

Dudes that make Dudes

  • Noosegraf Mob: it will usually fill up your board before your next turn, synergises well with Cathars' Crusade.
  • Darien, King of Kjeldor: Works as a deterrent to people trying to damage you.
  • Tendershoot Dryad: Makes a token for free on every turn, usually 3/3's. I don't really consider this a lord card because its for a single creature type, and the token output is far more impressive.

Lords

Sac Outlets

Sac Payoffs

Pseudo Sac payoffs

  • Teysa Karlov: Makes It so you only need half as many life drain triggers to win, the token boost is also nice.
  • Cliffhaven Vampire: Doubles the effectiveness of all drain triggers and makes single target triggers hit all opponents.

Cool powerful and Synergistic singles

Creature Removal - Murderous Rider: Just a kill-spell on a creature. - Royal Assassin: Removal on a stick, acts as an attack deterrent, can kill itself. - Realm-Cloaked Giant: Board wipe on a creature.

Non-Creature Spells

Mana Rocks

  • Sol Ring: No description needed
  • Chromatic Lantern: Perfect fixing for all mana.
  • The Great Henge: "It's like the Ghalta of Mana rocks" ~some dude at my lgs.
  • Ashnod's Altar: Sacrifice outlet that grants mana, very abuse-able in this deck, part of infinite combo explained below.

Ramps spells

Draw

Anthems

Token Generaters

Removal

  • Despark: Can usually remove the worst thing from the board from the game, for just 2 mana.
  • Casualties of War: Either spread it round or set one player back to the start of the game.
  • Kaya's Wrath: Board-wipe that gains you life
  • Sublime Exhalation: Usually a 4 mana board-wipe, can cost 1.
  • Merciless Eviction: Remove Whatever non-land permanent that is hard to deal with.
  • Citywide Bust: Boardwipe that hits everyone worse than it hits you.
  • Duneblast: Board-wipe That saves your most important/biggest creature, good way to finish off opponents.
  • Pernicious Deed: People will play differently with the threat of a board-wipe ever present.
  • Settle the Wreckage: Use this card to save yourself from lethal, you can also use it to ramp all of the land out of your deck if you have enough disposable creatures.

Powerful Single Effects

The Combo TM

So this combo at minimum gives you infinite ETB triggers and infinite death triggers, witch is great for a aristocrats deck. At best it can give you infinite mana of any colour and infinite tokens.

For this to work you need Ghave, Guru of Spores, Ashnod's Altar and one other depending on what you want from the combo (Anointed Procession, Champion of Lambholt, Cathars' Crusade).

Anointed version

If Anointed Procession is on the board, create a token with Ghave, Guru of Spores (making 2 saproling tokens), sacrafice one to Ashnod's Altar to make two colourless mana. Use one mana and sacrifice the remaining saproling to Ghave, Guru of Spores to put a counter back on it, ust the remaining mana to repeat the process.

Champion version

If Champion of Lambholt is on the board, create a token with Ghave, Guru of Spores this will put a +1/+1 counter on Champion of Lambholt, sacrifice the token to Ashnod's Altar to make two colourless mana. Use one mana with Ghave, Guru of Spores remove the +1/+1 counter from Champion of Lambholt to create one toke saproling. Now that you have one token and one mana you can make either infinite colourless mana or infinite 1/1 tokens.

Cathars' Version

Exactly the same as Champion version except you remove the counters from Ghave, Guru of Spores, if you have a Crystalline Crawler on the board you now have infinite coloured mana. This is the most powerfull version of the combo because ontop of doing everything else the other versions do, the tokens it makes are infinitely big.

A quick note on the side-board

Its just a bunch of stuff that I haven't found a place for yet, have removed recently for something else, or in the case of Korlash, Heir to Blackblade was removed because the deck is no longer one big reference to Beserk.
