This Marchesa deck is resilient deck with a heavy focused on control while coming ahead on value utilizing her delayed triggered ability on creatures.

Using ETBS or death triggers in cards like (Vindictive Lich, Flayer of the Hatebound, etc) with "at will" sacrifice outlets such as (Ashnod's Altar, Viscera Seer, etc.) to gain value over and over again. The ability to respond freely and at any time in the stack is also very important and not to be overlooked. We want full control.

Taking opponents resources is a fun package I've included with (Thief of Sanity, Etali, Primal Storm, Gonti, Lord of Luxury, Dack Fayden, Bribery etc.)

There are many elements that control life total at will (Pain Lands, Pain Amulets, Necropotence, etc.) to keep that Dethrone mechanic active.

Draw should not be a problem as well with Rhystic Study, Grim Haruspex, Necropotence, Thought Sponge, etc.

Grixis has a bit of trouble ramping, so I've included 36 lands and about 8 source of ramp. Solemn Simulacrum is a big tool for this as I can gain its ETB effect over and over again.

The deck has 5-6 wraths, which keep the game under control as well as giving it value off of Marchesa, the Black Rose's triggered ability with +/+ countes.

Big finishers like Rise of the Dark Realms and Warstorm Surge can close out the games, but are not always needed for wins. I find the deck can pressure with attack power, but definitely comes out on top more often with combo win cons.

I really enjoy playing this deck because it is versatile, and is absolutely unique for the meta in my play group. I think Marchesa, the Black Rose is a really interesting commander that can have a variety of builds around.
