Maybeboard

Hi, thanks for checking out my deck! I welcome all suggestions and constructive criticism! Please do note that I'm trying to keep the price relatively low which is why I've excluded cards such as Mana Crypt and Fetch-lands. ( Grim Monolith is included because the gold-bordered versions can be bought for roughly 1/16th the price of a normal one).

As you can see, the main objective while playing this deck is to cast a lot of artifacts for free with Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain on the battlefield.

This allows us to cycle through our deck to find win-conditions while racking up a high storm count. Once we run out of artifacts to play, we can cast one of either Paradoxical Outcome , Retract , Rebuild , or Hurkyl's Recall .

These allow us to continue the process of digging through our deck and also net us more cards whereas before we were only cycling.

This deck has 5 win conditions- Aetherflux Reservoir , Laboratory Maniac , Words of Wind , Sai, Master Thopterist , and Psychosis Crawler .

All of these are pretty self-explanatory except for Words of Wind . It does not win us the game, but effectively locks our opponents out of it.

To combo off with WoW, we need four specific cards: Jhoira, WoW and two mana-positive rocks ( Sol Ring , Mana Vault , or rocks like Mind Stone if we have Semblance Anvil or the equivalent thereof in play).

Here's how it works: Jhoira, WoW, and one of our rocks are on the battlefield. The other rock is in our hand. We tap the rock in play to activate the ability of WoW, then cast the rock that is in our hand. Jhoira's ability triggers and instead of drawing a card, we bounce the tapped rock back to our hand while our opponents each bounce one of their permanents. We can then repeat this process and eventually our opponents will have no cards in play while our board remains the same.

Mana Severance - Casting Mana Severance greatly decreases our chances of fizzling while trying to combo off since it eliminates many of our dead draws. Vedalken Archmage , Riddlesmith , Sensei's Divining Top - Why have one Jhoira in play when you could have multiple?! (Top essentially lets us draw an additional card for each artifact we play by tapping to draw a card and then putting itself back on top before we play another artifact.)

Clock of Omens - This lets us use all of our excess artifacts to untap our mana rocks.

Urza, Lord High Artificer - Speaks for himself.
