Deck :

Always Watching , Angel of Condemnation and Champion of Rhonas take center stage in this deck that aims to control the board state with various forms of exile and ramping up to finisher Zetalpa, Primal Dawn .

Creatures:

• Llanowar Elves (mana ramp)
• Glory-Bound Initiate (exert, becomes 4/4 with lifelink)
• Crashing Drawbridge (give creatures haste)
• Hanged Executioner (flying, exile removal)
• Angel of Condemnation (flying, vigilance, exile another creature until end of turn, exert for conditional exile removal)
• Champion of Rhonas (exert, put a creature card from your hand onto the battlefield) Synergy with Angel of Sanctions ETB effect as you can use it as an exile removal combat trick or cheat out a Zetalpa, Primal Dawn as early as turn 3 (see comments below).
• Angel of Sanctions (flying, conditional exile removal, embalm)
• Zetalpa, Primal Dawn (flying, double strike, vigilance, trample, indestructible)

Enchantments:

• Always Watching (non-token creatures you control get +1/+1 and ohave vigilance) Vigilance negates the combat effects of exert on Glory-Bound Initiate and Champion of Rhonas .

Combat tricks:

• Blossoming Defense (+2/+2, hexproof)
• Prepare / Fight (untap, +2/+2, lifelink / fight) Untap synergy allows you to use exert ability multiple times a turn with Angel of Condemnation . Fun tricks to be had by using this angel to clear the board for the Hour of Condemnation, Zetalpa, Primal Dawn .
