Mardu control deck based around Nahiri, the Harbinger you use thoughtsieze and inquisition to remove your opponents threats along with the lightning helix and bolts. Wall of Omens and Lingering Souls are good early game and protect your lily and nahiri. For late game Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet is good because you can kill their creatures with burn or terminate while also gaining life and creating more blockers. Most games I end up winning by swinging with the lingering souls or kalitas because people put all their focus on getting rid of nahiri. Most decks in modern play fetches and shocks and they usually leave themselves around 14 or 15 life and if they have no life gain the bolts and helix's can end up being lethal. Shambling Vent is an amazing blocker and also gains you life, I feel like it is an underrated man land right now. Occasionally I will drop the bomb (Emrakul, the Aeons Torn) but people usually scoop before I get it out of my deck and on the board haha.
