Greetings!

Hello and wellcome to "walls are actually usefull now". In this long and kinda boring description I will go through some stuff about the deck and what it is capable of.

Deck Building

When I first saw this card i was almost as happy as a child in a toy store with rich parents. I have always wanted to make use of defender cards but never had a card combo to make it work. When Assault Formation was reliesed I finnaly saw something in walls but...I didnt really like that it's pay for combat. So I scrapped the idea and moved on like a big boy. Oh yea the actuall deck...ofcourse I built it to conquer the battlefield with a swarm of defender creatures. My dream hand is 2 defenders and answers for my opponents such as Erie Interlude, Pongify and/or Krosan Grip. I searched for "big walls that destroy faces of weaklings" What I did not expect is rule 34 to interfere in that google search so i just searched "mtg Defenders/Walls". My top pics from that search was: Axebane Guardian, Stalwart Shield-Bearers, Drift of Phantasms, Tree of Redemption, Sunscape Familiar, Overgrown Battlement, For those who read this before it was a 6 year school test and I apologize for the time. Since this type of deck has apparently been the top picks for the Bant colors you probably pick another deck. This deck is ment to be a budget deck. If you wanna go a more budget version of this I would switch out cards like.
Aura Shards to any enchantment/artifact removal. Cyclonic Rift to any sweeper effect. Lightning Greaves to Swiftfoot Boots. All lands can be basic since lands are a magic players gasoline which as we all know is not cheap. Spidersilk Armor is a new edition to the deck, sure it looks kinda meh but I realized that flying creatures completely ruined me. An anthem effect plus reach is actually very nice.

I've had alot of fun playing this deck with my friends. I hope you'll find the same happiness as I have. I also have a casual 60 cards deck for defenders if commander isn't your thing. Good luck, have fun.
