This deck is a variant of the first legacy deck I ever built. Of course that deck was pretty terrible seeing as I hardly knew about legacy. The mana base is pretty simple. I wish I had the dual lands instead of the shocks but I don't. We play 8 fetches to help our brainstorms. We play 5 shocks/duals so we can get 2 blue and 1 red and 1 white by turn 2 as well as being able to cast all the spells in our main and side boards easily. We don't play wastelands simply because we need the actual mana sources and wasteland sucks for that. Our creature base is pretty simple and needs to stay as is. The only change I'd ever make is swap the mentors for True-Names. If you choose to play a sword in the main the True-Names are going to be better but I love the mentors for there ability to just take over a game. We play 10 cantrips to help our delvers and mentors and pyromancers as well as to ditch for forces late game. We play 8 removal spells and thanks to our colors we get to play the 2 best removal spells ever printed. For our counterspells we play 4 forces and 4 dazes. If you really wanted to you could add 2 spell pierce and 1 spell snare but i prefer playing the 3 probes. The last cards are the equipments. We play jitte and batterskull just like every other stoneforge deck ever but if you wanted to play another I'd recommend a sword. For the sideboard you want 3-4 pieces of grave hate 1 blue elemental blast 3-4 red elemental blasts 2-4 pieces of artifact hate 1-3 extra counterspells and after that you have some flex spots.
