Shrine of Piercing Vision

Artifact

At the beginning of your upkeep or whenever you cast a blue spell, put a charge counter on Shrine of Piercing Vision. {T}, Sacrifice Shrine of Piercing Vision: Look at the top X cards of your library, where X is the number of charge counters on Shrine of Piercing Vision. Put one of those cards into your hand and the rest on the bottom of your library in any order.

Hi there, was looking into building a 5 color shrine deck seeing how there are technically 11 in total now. Honden of Cleansing Fire Honden of Infinite Rage, Honden of Life's Web, Honden of Night's Reach, Honden of Seeing Winds. as well as the new ones from M21 Sanctum of All Sanctum of Calm Waters Sanctum of Fruitful Harvest Sanctum of Shattered Heights Sanctum of Stone Fangs Sanctum of Tranquil Light

Now I pretty much know the answer to this question will be No, but im hopeful regardless because shenanigans. Do cards like Shrine of Boundless Growth Shrine of Piercing Vision Shrine of Limitless Power Shrine of Loyal Legions Shrine of Burning Rage count towards the number of shrines you control? Technically they are shrines and in the enchantments text, looking for "Shrines you control" doesnt specifically state whether it needs to be an enchantment or artifact, only that it is a shrine. I know this is a stretch but are there any other instances of cards that have a similar or relatable technical problem like this that it can be compared to?

Alright, this thing looks absolutely filthy. I love any infinite energy mechanic that doesn't involve Felidar Guardian. Bravo.

There's an infinite combo around Shrine of Piercing Vision in here.

If you arrive at a board state where you have an infinite untap combo up and running and a non-land way of generating mana (either Vedalken Engineer or the Grand Architect + Pili-Pala ), but do not have the Consulate Turret, you can put infinite charge counters on Shrine of Piercing Vision. This means you can tutor for anything and (most importantly) put all the other cards on the "bottom" of your library in any order, which would end up being the top if you go through your whole deck. This would also let you tutor for a clutch counterspell and instantly cast it if your board is threatened.

It's a good defensive combo to have available, particularly since you can tutor your way to going "shields up" with an Isochron Scepter + Mana Leak .

Hey, maybe a Shrine of Piercing Vision because if you get all of your infinite combo but you turret, you can stack your deck and get the turret!

Shrine of Piercing Vision and Shrine of Burning Rage are early drops that could help when needed.

I think Charmbreaker Devils are kinda silly. Chancellor of the Spires is much more interesting

Pull from the Deep or Mystic Retrieval maybe?

Reiterate (expensive D:) and Snapcaster Mage (HAHAHAHAHA)

Shell of the Last Kappa (FUN... but very specific :x)

Knowledge Exploitation (I think you're gonna like this one)

Mindclaw Shaman and Diluvian Primordial
