Rogue Class

Enchantment — Class

(This enters the battlefield at Level 1: You may increase this enchantment's level by one by paying the appropriate costs. Activate to increase the level only as a sorcery.)

Level 1

Whenever a creature you control deals combat damage to a player, exile the top card of that player's library face down. You may look at it for as long as it remains exiled.

: Level 2

Creatures you control have menace.

: Level 3

You may play cards exiled with this and you may spend mana as though it were mana of any colour to cast those spells.

Several cards with level up/leveling activated abilities are marked as illegal when Zirda, the Dawnmaker is designated as companion.

Here is a list of the cards I have noticed:

Lighthouse Chronologist, Artificer Class, Barbarian Class, Cleric Class, Druid Class, Fighter Class, Monk Class, Paladin Class, Ranger Class, Rogue Class, Sorcerer Class, Warlock Class, Wizard Class

Phyrexian Dragon Engine  Meld seems to have a similar issue.

So for unblockables, I could run Triton Shorestalker and Changeling Outcast but I am thinking just using Ornithopter and Rogue Class to bring out the ninjas and Distortion Strike, Smoke Shroud, and Aqueous Form to give evasion to ninjas on the battlefield.

Here are a bunch of cards with that type of effect:

Gonti, Lord of Luxury

Rogue Class

Brainstealer Dragon

Breeches, Brazen Plunderer although specific to pirates so maybe not

Cunning Rhetoric

Grinning Totem

Guile a bit situational but you might like it

Knacksaw Clique

Mezzio Mugger

Muse Vessel

Opposition Agent

Ornate Kanzashi

Thada Adel, Acquisitor

You Find Some Prisoners

Hope that helps, you can find more of these at gatherer.wizards.com, it's just a big card database where you can search for specific rules texts, names etc.

TheoryCrafter on Cards that exile Libraries in …

Any creature with Ingest including, but not limited to, Dominator Drone, Fathom Feeder, and Salvage Drone exile the top cards of graveyards each time they deal combat damage.

Other cards that exile after doing damage include, but aren't limited to, Lord of the Void, Nashi, Moon Sage's Scion and Skullsnatcher. Rogue Class also permits this on creatures.

Each Ashiok Planeswalker except for Ashiok, Sculptor of Fears exiles cards. All of them have some sort of graveyard or exile interaction

Planar Void allows for the cards to be directly exiled from the graveyard. If you add this one, be sure you include Syr Konrad, the Grim.

Another shuffling shenanigans card you may wish to consider is Archive Trap.

If your opponent is somehow able to get cards into the graveyard before they can be exiled, other options include Bojuka Bog and Surgical Extraction.

I hope this helps. Happy Hunting!

Hey, interesting concept, combining Ninjas with sea monsters. Well done if this is your first attempt at deck building, you have good card sense.

Some cards here that are not as good as the others that could be upgraded, even on a budget: Prismatic Lens, Doom Blade, Nemesis of Reason, Ambition's Cost, Commander's Sphere, Rogue Class, Tromokratis, Blade of the Oni.

  • 1x more Island --> Tromokratis
  • 1x more Island --> Nemesis of Reason
  • 1x more Swamp --> Doom Blade

30 lands is low when you want to get to at least four mana to ninjutsu with Satoru. Consider cutting a couple of the high CMC sea monsters that are not as good as the others, Tromokratis and Nemesis of Reason, to add a few more lands? Could just add more of each basic land or there's many other options that are more expensive price: Watery Grave, Morphic Pool, Drowned Catacomb, Shipwreck Marsh, etc. Some budget options are: Ice Tunnel (another land Marsh Flats can get), Temple of Deceit, Esper Panorama.

Prismatic Lens and Commander's Sphere could be upgraded to mana rocks that can combo with Hullbreaker Horror to make infinite mana. Astral Cornucopia and Everflowing Chalice combo with Sol Ring by repeatedly bounce/cast them with Hullbreaker to make infinite mana. Sol pays for itself plus 1 extra colorless mana each time you tap it before it's bounced by Hullbreaker. Astral is better because once you make infinite colorless then you can pay that colorless to cast Astral to make infinite blue or black mana. When you have infinite colorless then Arcane Signet or Dimir Signet can also be used to make infinite blue/black mana.

If you can create a copy of Hullbreaker from Thousand-Faced Shadow then this combo can bounce all your opponent's nonland permanents and keep doing this on each of your main phases.

Ingenious Infiltrator is a good Ninja for repeatable draw. Baleful Strix is a nice creature to enable ninjustu. Prosperous Thief is a Ninja for repeatable ramp who also triggers from a Rogue and there's many unblockable Rogues here.

Good luck with your deck.

Ok so I didn't check to see if any of these were in the deck already but... here's my list of suggestions!

It's a lot of cards so...

Again some of these may be cut worthy but off the cuff this is what I came up with. Also I didn't include any ninjas... I figure they are easy enough to find
