Thanks KongMing for the suggestion! I am currently still building this deck on the back of my retired Otrimi, the Ever-Playful and will defo playtest Walking Atlas :)

This is my take on Otrimi, the Ever-Playful. Leaned more into evasion than hexproof.

This is something that I only witnessed across the table, but it's too good not to share.

We were playing some casual 5 player commander, with me on Reyav, Master Smith, and my opponents on Marwyn, the Nurturer, Nethroi, Apex of Death, Blim, Comedic Genius, and Otrimi, the Ever-Playful/Umori, the Collector-creatures. This pre-HBer ban, and the Otrimi player has a commanding boardstate with both Opposition Agent and Hullbreacher. The Blim player has a Steel Golem, though, and he gets it through--shutting the Otrimi player out of the game entirely for about 5 turns till he gets a Murderous Rider off.

This Sultai player is one of the most level-headed people I know, but he kept shaking his head and saying "dude, I'm on all creatures..."

This should help some folks be more inclined to help you. I for one have no idea what the name of most of the decks are, it is just the commander(s) that I care about. What I would highly recommend is if you know your general preferred play style let us know and we can start pointing you in one direction or another.

If I have Otrimi, the Ever-Playful mutated onto any create, my opponent casts Murder on otrimi and I respond with Supernatural Stamina do both otrimi and it's mutation target return to the battlefield as separate creatures?

Ayula, Queen Among Bears is the one I definetly have the absolute most fun with. But I like to play Atla Palani, Nest Tender , Yasova Dragonclaw and Otrimi, the Ever-Playful as well (Even though not as much as Ayula).

Doombeard1984 thanks, it's a little obnoxious, but one in awhile it'd be good for a laugh. Honestly I'd probably snip Followed Footsteps , which is a card I used to run in as many ETB-centric decks as I could manage, but at 5 CMC ends up feeling extraordinarily slow for a once-per-turn effect. I have lately really like Followed Footsteps in decks that make bombs, like my Otrimi, the Ever-Playful since it actually copies a Mutated stack (fun as shit deck btw).

Nice! I played the Otrimi, the Ever-Playful precon and was so fun. But at the end I didn't jump to improve it (Ikoria released a lot of interesting commanders and I had to choose between a lot of them)

But in the future I would love to recover Otrimi project. Nice to have ideas to work with.
