I have a copy of Hypersonic Dragon in my Thraximundar EDH deck, but that creature does not fit the theme of that deck, so I have decided to replace it with another creature, and my current two choices are Baleful Strix and Necromaster Dragon, since theya re both very nice cards, indeed, but I am not certian which of them I should choose.
The strix would reduce the mana curve of the deck, which the deck dearly needs, but it is essentially a powerful blocker, whereas the dragon provides some very nice abilities.
What does everyone else say about this? Which creature should I put into my Thraximundar deck?

I have replaced Szadek, Lord of Secrets and Sultai Ascendancy with Necromaster Dragon and Glarb, Calamity's Augur, which reduced the average converted mana cost of this deck from 3.68 to 3.65, because, as great as Szadek was, in this deck, he simply was too expensive, and the dragon also provides tokens, which I definitely need, as this deck contains several sacrifice outlets, and Glarb is better than the ascension in nearly every way.

I typically go for Zombies as they are represented very well in both colors, but a solid token creator outside of that tribe is Bloodline Keeper Flip.
Necromaster Dragon is a fun one.
Reef Worm is a good replayable idea.
There are a few Planeswalkers who create tokens, also. Probably my personal favorite to do so with is Ashiok, Nightmare Muse because that token is absolutely devastating, especially if you manage vigilance on it somehow.
There are 635 cards listed on Gatherer within and that make creature tokens. Have fun!
The single best "mass sacrifice" concept in the game is Gravecrawler to Phyrexian Altar, or to anything that produces colored mana. If your mana is colorless, you can adjust this with filters.

I’d recommend Aven Eternal over Scrapskin Drake, and Dreadhorde Invasion is pretty fly. Larder Zombie’s not insane but could push the deck a little further.
Overall I’d probably say drop some two-ofs for more three- and four-ofs, for consistency’s sake. Sibsig Host, Tattered Drake and Necromaster Dragon would be good candidates to ditch - just very expensive for effects which aren’t that incredible. Neat deck, good luck!

Randomsome1 In Regards to Conspiracy there are a few creatures that i would like to not lose if i get Call to the Grave running. Gisa and Geralf Ghoulcaller Gisa The Scarab God Archetype of Imagination Necromaster Dragon(he may get cut anyway) and creatures i would potentially steal with the effect of Coffin Queen Tho i may take out Call to the Grave then i can remove Conspiracy as well all in all my original beck building ideas for this deck was for fun mainly not to make it super competitive tho who the heck who try to be competitive with a 4 color zombies? and the land bases are tough for a 4 color deck i am going to adjust it accordingly after i get the rest of the cards situated so i know how much of what i need

While not a Zombie, Necromaster Dragon is a fun card that flies, spits up Zombies, and mills the opponent.
Undead Alchemist is on theme with Geralf.
And you need the Avatar of Zombies, Soulless One.

You have Nissa Revane and not Nissa's Chosen? You should have 4 of him if you have Nissa Revane. Here is another dump of cards that are cool too. Necromaster Dragon, Taigam, Ojutai Master, Catacomb Dragon, Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, Siege Dragon, Rith, the Awakener, Crosis, the Purger, Utvara Hellkite (He is one of my favorites!), Mana-Charged Dragon, Vampiric Dragon, Death by Dragons, Dragonmaster Outcast, Knight of New Alara, Conflux, Kilnmouth Dragon (Drop him first and then you have never ending burn spells), Two-Headed Dragon, Flameblast Dragon. I have time on the bus ride home by the way. lol
