Legerdemain

Sorcery

Exchange control of target artifact or creature and another target permanent that shares one of those types with it. (This effect doesn't end at end of turn.)

My Karona deck has fun with Legerdemain, Stuffy Doll (which becomes political very fast), Blessing of the Nephilim and Arena of the Ancients (Karona will untap in Upkeep, not Untap step)

You may need a little more Defense. Even if Karona can't attack you she can give all the other creatures +3/+3 and THEY can attack you.

Hey Milliam_Shakespeare I was wondering if you cast Legerdemain and exchange control of one of your creature by your opponent commander. What is happening? Can your opponent take back their commander right away? Or can they only take it back if it dies/put in your graveyard or is exiled? What if you blink it back in your own hand, can your opponent take it back? Or does it stays in your hand for as long as you want?

Hi! This list is pretty cool! I have seen other Zedruu lists before, but this one has some cool inclusions such as Jinxed Choker or Legerdemain, I hadn't seen those cards before until just now

One thing I want to say though is that I love the title and description! They are hilarious! hahaha

One card I see time on time in my LGS is Crown of Doom. It's not the biggest blowout in some matchups, but if you're in some Aggro/Tokens metagame this card can be pretty powerful!

"The exchange of the control of two permanents is something that that colour can do at Rare and higher"

Not that this is relevant to the main point of the article, but blue can exchange permanents at uncommon as well: Switcheroo , Eyes Everywhere , Vedalken Plotter , Shrewd Negotiation , Shifting Loyalties , Legerdemain , and Shifting Borders .

chadsansing THANKS FOR THE IDEAS!!!

Some letters already had them on my list Bribery and Desertion to steal when least expected like a real thief! eheheh

But I needed more solutions to be able to carry other types of cards and Beacon of Unrest; Nightveil Specter; Acquire; Carry Away and Legerdemain (the latter I already have) are excellent solutions and ... great thieves!

Many thanks for the ideas !!!

If this continues to evolve 40 thieves will not be enough ... ahahah!

Maybe just turn some of your token generation that's not creatures into creature ETB token generation like Siege-Gang Commander or Ponyback Brigade. Then you can sac the etb creature and get it back with Ravos. Also seems to be too many sac outlets, trim it down a little. I found that Legerdemain and Daring Thief work well with disposable creatures as well.

There's lots in blue. Switcheroo, Legerdemain, Shifting Loyalties, Chromeshell Crab, Cultural Exchange, Djinn of Infinite Deceits, Juxtapose and Spawnbroker all do what you want to do, though I guess Spawnbroker, the crab and the djinn all break with the "no creatures with abilities" restriction.

White doesn't have anything besides quirky gain-control effects, like Preacher, Evangelize, Debt of Loyalty and Jabari's Influence, but they don't switch.
