Can't believe not long ago I was going to buy a cheap Island of Wak-Wak for this deck. Now, even if I had one, I wouldn't play it because it's worth the rest of the deck hundreds of times over.

These are all token generators I found that don't need any assistance but there are other things to think about. That Cmdr says "whenever a creature with power 1 or less dies return it to play under YOUR control". So this is where you can get creative and simply make your opponents creatures power 1 or less and kill them to bring them back to play under YOUR control.

So right away the first thing I think of is how can we turn your Cmdr into a Grave Betrayal! So cool.

You might also add Kor Haven to the list. It acts as another Maze of Ith, with an obvious upside and downside.

Also, if you want to troll people hard, there is always Island of Wak-Wak, although it's best in builds with Chromatic Lantern or Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth.

I got the idea for this deck from looking at Pirate EDH

If you get the "Not Tournament Legal" copy of Rishadan Port you save over $100.. I only play casual home games, and none of my friends have a problem with that substitution. And can easily take out the Island of Wak-Wak and save another $100

  1. The other problem with that is that old cards are being excluded, just because they are old. Diamond Valley or Island of Wak-Wak are not very powerful cards, but they are excluded from the format's premise, since they are old. Card price does not equal power in all cases.

  2. That is 50 cards from the onset, which is a lot. Banning everything that could be considered powerful is not the correct way to go. You are pre-banning cards without even a test game?

  3. So its the general's colors + 1 extra? I don't really see the reason for imposing restrictions that are that loose, but hey, why not...

  4. There is a difference between working and fun. Un-cards do not work with magic sets, nor are they particularly powerful. Why would the ones that are playable, but bad, even be played?

I think this needs a lot more time on the stove before it is ready to be served. You have not thought of too many things, some of those that you have thought about are not clear, while others that are included are baffling.

P.S. None of this is meant to be rude/mean, only blunt. I am sorry in advance, but without criticism this ain't going nowhere.

Alondith already have Norin in there lol.
I had Grafted Exoskeleton in there at one time however infect has never been hugely popular in our playgroup and local LGS as well as it's risky to use since in involves Purphoros becoming a creature, I am fine with balancing devotion when it comes to mana acceleration like with Nykthos because then I may have a way to turn it off when I need to but with the Exoskeleton it draws way too much hate that I have already been getting an it gives my opponents an easier way to remove Purphoros.
Panharmonicon and Genesis Chamber I have been considering as the former gives me a Furnace of Rath and Dictate of the Twin Gods effect without running the huge risk of other aggro or Voltron players from benefiting from it as well as the latter gives me extra tokens for my creatures at the expense of giving my opponents some, which I am fine with a little group hug with this deck since this deck does draw a lot of hate, I however don't know what to take out for them which is why I requested suggestions lol.
Another couple of cards I have been considering is Crawlspace and Ensnaring Bridge and potentially but extremely iffy on Form of the Dragon as having some more pillowforts other than Kazuul and Silent Arbiter allows me to ward off some hate, I have also been saving up for an Island of Wak-Wak because if screws over some Voltrons
