If I cast a Haunting Imitation and reveal a Clone-style effect, say Mercurial Pretender, would the clone be a 1/1 spirit copy of whatever I copy or would it just be a copy of whatever I choose to copy? I feel like it would just be a regular copy because the cloning would overwrite the 1/1 and possibly the spirit type as well, but I’m not sure.
