Goatnap

Sorcery

Gain control of target creature until end of turn. Untap that creature. It gains haste until end of turn. If that creature is a Goat, it also gets +3/+0 until end of turn.

Some cards you probably want but just haven't encountered:

Brute Force , Crimson Wisps , Expedite , Fists of Flame , Soul's Fire , Swiftfoot Boots

Mutavault to help against edicts and give you an extra attacker. Lots of other cards do this but not as efficiently

Break Through the Line double duty

Shadowspear helps you beat other aggro decks and occasionally saves your ass with the activated ability

Mana Stuff:

Sol Ring , Braid of Fire , Runaway Steam-Kin , Sword of Feast and Famine , Chandra, Torch of Defiance

Kari Zev's Expertise , Goatnap , Claim the Firstborn , Wrangle , or any Threaten with an upside really

Effects that say "until end of turn" do not go on the stack, and so cannot be exiled with Obeka. So Goatnap and Act of Treason, among others, do not do what you want them to in this deck. What you are looking for are cards that say "at the beginning of the next end step," because those triggers go on the stack and can be exiled. Wording with older cards can be difficult, but Last Chance and Final Fortune still work here.

Pro_Noob I was trying to keep this deck as budget as possible so as much as I would like to put Basilisk Collar in, I simply dont have the money, but that is an upgrade I would like to put in for the future. The other reason that card is in here is because the way I have been playing this deck is to try and ko people with one attack as often as possible, or two attacks in some situations, and Blessing of Belzenlok is a good way to surprise gain a bunch of life when people are not expecting it and catapault myself into the lead.

Go ahead, build ur Zedruu deck, my foil Goatnap is waiting.

GenesisOdin Thanks for the suggestion! I will defiintely keep that in mind as I continue to change the deck and cut and replace cards. While I like the idea of both of those cards (especially Rescue from the Underworld), I just dont think they have a solid place in the deck atm because of how creature light it is, and that there arent any creatures that I really need to win the game, more just creatures that enable me a lot more than normal (looking at you Tavern Swindler and Captivating Crew). If I do transition into a more creature heavy kind of deck then I will definitely look at these cards again though.

as a first look over I only have a few comments

Blessing of Belzenlok - honestly? kinda just seems like a subpar Basilisk Collar, but if its a budget deck that might be the point too lol. like sure the stat boost is nice and all but you are starting with a 5/5 body that has innate buffs, so the static effect of collar is probably just better here, especially since deathtouch and trample combo so well together.

Bone Splinters - fits the theme and probably for budget considerations too, but just seems underwhelming, esp at sorcery speed and non recurrable. I feel like there has to be an enchantment or artifact or something with a similar effect as an activated ability that you could swap for.

Nice. A few suggestions, given your new theme:

Hazoret's Favor is built for this deck.

Mogg Cannon is less powerful, but a backup sac outlet and cheap.

Mark of Mutiny is a good threaten for Greven.

Traitorous Instinct is basically Malevolent Whispers v0.9.

Treacherous Urge gets any creatures your opponents think they can keep in-hand until Greven leaves the field.

Varchild, Betrayer of Kjeldor , Goblin Spymaster , Hunted Dragon , and Hunted Horror will make sure you have a steady stream of creatures to kill.

Molten Primordial , Insurrection , Mass Mutiny , Captivating Crew , Angrath, the Flame-Chained , Conquering Manticore are all notable Threatens that are missing.

Auger Spree doubles as removal and card draw. Bedeck / Bedazzle does the same and also hits problematic lands. Nameless Inversion is probably the worst of the three, but it can be grabbed by creature tutors, so there's that.

Unwilling Recruit and Might Makes Right might not be efficient, but they will be funny.

Goatnap . That is all.

hahaha, amazing. My favorite part is the name. (And that says a lot.)

Consider Righteous Charge , or Inspired Charge , or Sanctified Charge ?

Also, this probably goes without saying, but please be careful of Goatnap .
