Thanks for the feedback, Epochalyptic! On Riptide Chimera , it's flavour text applies indeed, but why floodtide serpent? I personally think it would mess up my curve a little, I don't want too many fivedrops and it's just a 4/4 without evasion as well... I can't really think of anything I'd find worth taking out, though obviously, I'm still open to any suggestions at all. What should I take out accordingly to you for Floodtide Serpent ?

Thanks for the suggestions lilgiantrobot, I'll definitely look into Terrain Generator, Striped Riverwinder, Sky Diamond, Retraced Image, and the two stones. You're right, the ramp could be a little better.

I agree with Spreading Seas, that and Quicksilver Fountain add some major disruption vs other colors. I'll see what other moves I can make. Now that you mention it, it definitely would be difficult for Floodtide Serpent to go off.

Terrain Generator is worth a look. Retraced Image puts an extra island into play. Dreamscape Artist is a repeatable blue Harrow. I'd also really consider adding more cheap ramping mana rocks. Sky Diamond, Fellwar Stone, and Mind Stone aren't the most exciting plays, but you're running a lot of big guys!

Striped Riverwinder is a new cycling serpent. You're going to almost never be able to satisfy the conditions for Floodtide Serpent so I think its a good switch. The cycling is important here too b/c you're low on raw card draw. Treasure Hunt is an option, since its ocean-themed draw. I'm also a fan of Spreading Seas, since it it basically land destruction that draws when you play it on a Cabal Coffers or other important land.

Floodtide Serpent is soooo bad. Awesome picture, but a garbage card. Replace it with Brine Elemental or Coral Barrier or Colossal Whale or Serpent of the Endless Sea. Hell, even Killer Whale or Guard Gomazoa or Gomazoa would be better.
