Think it’s worth making room for Echoes of the Kin Tree ?
It’s cmc is good and white is my second largest colour slice. The three mana to bolster when you don’t get to choose the creature has me second guessing it.

I don’t care for Echoes of the Kin Tree, Gleam of Authority and Inexorable Tide.
You might consider Vanquisher's Banner, Master of Waves and Metallic Mimic.

Okay so just going through my list here, I can split it into a couple lists: counter producers, counter enhancers, and counter synergies.
Counter producers give +1/+1 counters to things. Among them are Anafenza, the Foremost, Bloodtracker, Chasm Skulker, Daghatar the Adamant, Dragonscale General, Drana, Liberator of Malakir, Hangarback Walker, Heroes' Bane, Managorger Hydra, Mikaeus, the Lunarch, Prime Speaker Zegana, Toothy, Imaginary Friend Citadel Siege, Curse of Predation, Ajani, Adversary of Tyrants, Cathars' Crusade, Echoes of the Kin Tree, and finally, arguably the best of this group, Ajani, Mentor of Heroes.
Counter enhancers increase the counters placed on things: Gilder Bairn, Pir, Imaginative Rascal, Vorel of the Hull Clade, Winding Constrictor, Doubling Season, Hardened Scales, Primal Vigor, and Solidarity of Heroes.
Finally, counter synergies, such as Abzan Battle Priest, Armorcraft Judge, Battlefront Krushok, Cenn's Tactician, Fathom Mage, Zameck Guildmage, Hindervines, Inspiring Call, and Bred for the Hunt.

griffstick, thank you for that feedback, but I actually found a way to have both creatures in my deck; I removed Echoes of the Kin Tree from it, because Mikaeus is superior to it in almost every way.

After much deliberation, I did, indeed, replace, Anafenza with the ranger, but I also replaced Echoes of the Kin Tree with Mikaeus, the Lunarch, since he is superior to it in virtually every way. After those two replacements, the average converted mana cost of this deck increased from 3.73 to 3.77, which is only the most minimal of increases, so I am very pleased with these replacements.

enpc, I actually realized how I can avoid needing to choose between those cards and have both in my deck: I shall replace Anafenza with the ranger, as I originally planned, and then use Mikaeus to replace Echoes of the Kin Tree, as that card is merely a lesser version of him.
