Dreamtide Whale
Creature — Whale
Vanishing 2 (This creature enters the battlefield with two time counters on it. At the beginning of your upkeep, remove a time counter from it. When the last is removed, sacrifice it.)
Whenever a player casts their second spell each turn, proliferate. (Choose any number of permanents and/or players, then give each another counter of each kind already there.)

Looks like a solid list to me. You could maybe try these swaps:
Fuel for the Cause -> Guildpact Informant
Reject Imperfection -> Dreamtide Whale
Blightbelly Rat -> Flux Channeler
Necrogen Communion -> Contentious Plan
My thoughts are if you usually play multiplayer, a focus toward proliferate over single-target effects would be better. It's hard to say though since I don't know what kinds of decks your brother and friends play so maybe the control cards are necessary.
