I give Death Watch a solid "maybe, probably not." If you can reliably get it on something with 10+ power, and attack for a win on the turn it goes off, sure. I mostly see it just slowing down the game, though. You have more reliable threats, and the lifegain doesn't help that much.

It sounds like most of your matches are going to be one on one, this deck vs. Atarka. Is that accurate?

I feel Kaima not being black-inclusive is a waste; Gruul doesn't have a lot of stuff like Death Watch or Dead Man's Chest

Actually, the namesake card for the op title: Rain of Gore. My favorites are: Carnival of Souls, Vile Requiem, Death's Duet, Season of the Witch, Death Rattle for sure and Death Bomb. More;

Metallic Mastery, Seething Song, Song of Blood, Songs of the Damned, Apocalypse, All of the death cards like Certain Death, Death Baron, Death Cloud, Death Speakers, Death Stroke, Death Watch, Death Wind,Death Wish. Deathrender, Death's Approach, Death's Duet, and Kiss of Death, and pretty much anything with death in the name. Yet more;

Battle Screech, Chaos Lord, Reign of Chaos, Clinging Darkness, Dark Bargain, Darkest Hour, Darkness, Scion of Darkness, Tombfire, Burnt Offering, Soul Bleed, Soul Burn, Soul Feast, Soulblast, and Soulshriek.

This is really cool, I didn't realize that Zombie Master was an uncommon.

I feel like you need more Contaminated Ground , Evil Presence and Tainted Well - you're sitting on a goldmine with that Swampwalk for everyone ability, you just need to give people some swamps. Those cards are probably much much better than Relic Putrescence and Death Watch at least.

I have been tinkering a lot with the deck and know that the only BW cards that win you infinite life are the ones in the deck, Death Watch , Exile , Death's Caress , Sever Soul and Weed Strangle .

There is no pauper legal way of using infinite toughness to deal damage or any good lifegain payoffs for huge lifegain in one shot.

Drawing into the combo and disruption is a work in progress mainly hurt by how bad white is at drawing and the lack of counterspells.

The life combo is also possible in WG and damage combos exist in WR and WB.

Death Watch will cause you to gain infinite life, not lose infinite life.
