Bloodfire Enforcers

Creature — Human Monk

Bloodfire Enforcers has first strike and trample as long as an instant card and a sorcery card are in your graveyard.

Cut: Righteous Blow Add: Path to Exile

Cut: Konda's Hatamoto Add: Swiftblade Vindicator

Bloodfire Enforcers are completely useless in this deck because you only have instants.

I think you should add pump spells, because the double strike creatures don't have much power to deal damage.

I would also cut Dragon-Style Twins because you only have 9 noncreature spells in there. Boros Charm would be a good card to find a place for in your deck.

As for the sideboard Cut: Hallow Add: Leyline of Sanctity , it doesn't gain you any life but it can be out at the beginning of the game and won't cost you mana that you might not have because of that. I would not recommend having any lands in your deck, and would include graveyard hate in place of it such as: Tormod's Crypt , Nihil Spellbomb , Rest in Peace , Grafdigger's Cage , and Relic of Progenitus .

Also very good sideboard cards are Pithing Needle , Blood Moon , and Fry . When designing a sideboard, you want to think of all the most likely match ups, and then include cards in your sideboard that would work well against that deck. I have some ideas that might help to combo with the Instant and Sorcery synergy you have.

Bloodfire Enforcers can get deadly once it is active and pumped; Trample and First Strike together make the damage hard to block or take to the face.

Charmbreaker Devils helps with recursion, and also gets swull AF.

Galvanoth lets you play an Instant or Sorcery for free, and also doesn't reveal your topdeck to the whole board if you can't cast it.

Many of your Instants and Sorceries are cheap, so Goblin Dark-Dwellers might give you some utility mileage. Essentially gives you another body on the board and a recast, so it's good card efficiency.

Izzet Chemister can let you cast multiple Instants and Sorceries from your grave, giving you the ability to reach critical mass faster.

You don't get triggers from copies, but Guttersnipe might still be useful for racking up passive damage.

Finally, Sphinx-Bone Wand can help you win the game with direct damage if you can't get combat stuff through.

Great deck! +1 from me.

Some things I'm trying to decide between are:

*Bump in the Night or Pillar of Flame (If I choose to keep in Satyr Firedancer the choice should be obvious)

*Pyre Hound or Bloodfire Enforcers

*Devil's Play or Ravaging Blaze

*Butcher's Glee or Dark Dabbling or Wail of the Nim

*I'm thinking of not using Lightning Bolt in favor of any of the 2CMC instant or sorcery cards (too many to list) that deal at least 3 damage to save on $.

Other cards I'm trying to decide whether to leave in or take out are Satyr Firedancer, Howl of the Horde, Dash Hopes, Brimstone Volley, Searing Blaze, and Mizzium Mortars.

(You may notice all the cards mentioned here are at x2, which is so I can see which ones I'm thinking about)

Any and all thoughts are welcome (I realize the mana is low but I thought the deck could pull it off?)

P.S. I'm tying to keep the deck at $30 and under, but it NEEDS to be $40 and under.

THANKS EVERYONE!!!

I like the idea of this deck. Personally i think that if your not playing magic for fun, you aren't playing magic. If you can afford the upgrades I suggest you add in some Lightning Bolts, more Monastery Mentors, Bloodfire Enforcers, another Dragon-Style Twins, playset of Monastery Swiftspear and some Ojutai Exemplars and go into a more boros shell with Boros Charms, Lightning Helix, and things like that. splash a little blue if you want for some Jeskai Charms and Shu Yun, the Silent Tempest for all the sweet spells you can run in this deck. If you cant afford those upgrades to the deck then its fine, so long as you have fun playing.
