I'm definitely switching out Awaken the Bear for Giant Growth , just a better card in every way I'll just be sure to chose the one with the bear in the art. And I like the Bear Umbra since it's something you can put all this mana ramp to good use to. I might just strait add it without removing anything since it's still at 60 cards, lots of room. Thanks for the card ideas.

I would lean more towards Giant Growth instead of Awaken the Bear solely for mana reasons. It's not as flavorful, but the core set version of the card has a bear on it!

Bear Umbra is generally pretty good and will help you get out bears faster.

Seems a nice deck, but I'd make some suggestions:

First of all I'd add Fatal Push. It's very usefull when you want to remove an annoying opponent's creature. Probably I'd put it instead of Reaper from the Abyss, since it's true that the reaper is a creature that does good things, but it costs really much.

I don't really like Bone Picker and Savra, Queen of the Golgari since you don't have so many chances to cast the picker in the first turns and you don't sacrifice creatures, which makes the queen useless

Cards you could consider are: Bitterblossom, Basilica Screecher, Beckon Apparition, Daggerdrome Imp, Gurmag Swiftwing, Kitesail Freebooter, Inquisition of Kozilek, Thoughtseize, Ravenous Chupacabra

I understand why Awaken the Bear and Unnatural Predation are there (you want trample creatures). But aren't better Rancor, Vines of Vastwood or Predator's Strike?

Last thing: I'd add more Overgrown Tomb (raising it up to 3x) and 4x of Verdant Catacombs

The best green removal card is Beast Within. Also, Predator's Strike is strictly better than Awaken the Bear. Also, green ramp: Overgrowth, Utopia Sprawl + Arbor Elf, Voyaging Satyr.

I offer you guys a challenge. Below will be a board state set up, and it is your job to beat your opponent this turn. I'll start off with an easy one at first. If you guys like this I'll gladly post more. So, can you figure it out?

Your opponent has 6 life left. On his side of the board he has 5 1/1 Goblin tokens and has a Ghostly Prison in play. He is completely tapped out, and has no cards in his hand.

You have a Blind-Spot Giant , a face down Ainok Survivalist and a Expedition Map in play. You have 2 swamps, 3 Forest, and 3 mountains

It is the start of your turn and you draw a Beseech the Queen. In your hand you have Crush Underfoot, Akoum Boulderfoot and a Ahn-Crop Crasher.

In your library you have Bloodfire Colossus , Bloodshot Cyclops , Furystoke Giant , Grave Titan, Inferno Titan , Ondu Giant , Primeval Titan, Rakdos Charm, Loamdragger Giant , Heartwood Giant , Forbidden Orchard, Doom Blade, Doomgape , Awaken the Bear , Craterhoof Behemoth, Smoldering Spires, 5 mountains, 3 swamps, and 4 Forests.

It is possible for you to win this turn, but how?

I very much agree that you should try Spider Umbra

Archetype of Endurance is cool and all, but it's too expensive. Same with Archetype of Finality. Awaken the Bear is nifty, since it gives your creature trample, but you should cut that and the archetypes for 4x Vines of Vastwood. It's easy to kick, boosts a creature, and it's not too expensive.

Mantle of Webs could be a fun little one-of
