This week, we’re headed back into familiar territory for another shot at custom commanders! Using the specific knowledge that somebody would use Food Chain to break their commander if we weren’t careful, three of us painstakingly designed balanced cards for each fourth person in this week’s playgroup and we’re very satisfied with the results! Ill try to pitch another idea. What about tribal EDH BUT the tribes have to be in Ixalan, and your commander must also be from Ixalan. I do realize that does shoehorn you guys into 7 possible commanders, three of which aren't multicolored. So feel free to ignore this suggestion.

They look very playable. I particularly like Kutabe as a potential Kamigawa spirit/ arcane general. Commander 2017 felt like it was a miss in that department.

What is the set symbol supposed to be? It looks more than a little phallic.

I love the unique feels of each of these custom commanders! I might need to talk my friends into letting me try some of them.

A theme! This theme is not necessarily MTG mechanically driven, but more wacky and flavorful. Build a deck based on favorite books, movies, shows, video games, or other thing. If possible, just pick one of the things. Keep as many cards included as on-theme as possible (you better have a good reason for that Sol Ring, other than wanting 2 Mana), not counting basic lands.
