Yawgmoth Aristocrats & -1/-1 Counters

The Man, The Myth, The PHYSICIAN:

I've been in love with Yawgmoth, Thran Physician since he was first spoiled (also, who doesn't love rooting for the Villain) and I knew I had to build around him. This is not only my favorite deck, it's my Magnum Opus.

Token Production:

Making Tokens is essential in any Aristocrats theme, these tokens are some of the best options for sacrifice fodder. One token maker has an amazing synergy with Yawg, Nest of Scarabs . Bitterblossom , Dreadhorde Invasion , Desecrated Tomb , Abhorrent Overlord , Ogre Slumlord , Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet , and Ophiomancer are some of my other favorites in this deck.

Sacrifice Outlets:

The main Sacrifice Outlet in this deck is Yawg himself, but having other sac outlets allows this deck to function if Yawg isn't on the board. Two of my favorites are Phyrexian Altar and Ashnod's Altar .

Mass Mana Production:

Having Cabal Coffers (Copied with Vesuva and Thespian's Stage ) and Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth is a nice way to make a ton of mana. This mana can be used to fuel Yawg's engine.

-1/-1 Counters:

The -1/-1 Counters Yawg produces can be a great benefit in combos (besides Nest of Scarabs). Necroskitter pairs really well with Black Sun's Zenith , and allows you to steal everyone else's creatures. I removed all the undying infinites from this deck because I wanted to shift towards a build without infinites.

Doing Damage:

Gray Merchant of Asphodel , Ayara, First of Locthwain , Blood Artist , Zulaport Cutthroat , and Bastion of Remembrance are the obvious choices because you're saccing all your own creatures so you'll be doing a lot of damage to everyone else and giving yourself health (to either survive or pay for Yawg's ability).

Recursion:

There is a recursion theme that can help fuel the Aristocrat engine in a pinch. Cards like Sheoldred, Whispering One , Chainer, Dementia Master , Witch of the Moors , Phyrexian Reclamation , and Agadeem's Awakening  , all aid in recurring creatures.

Lastly, this deck was built around undying combos and other infinites, and it basically played out with every opening hand having an infinite combo. I shifted this deck towards value and non infinite win cons, because it was too oppressive for non-cEDH.
