Making the opponent sacrifice creatures for unblockable commander damage or other nasties. Destroy for keeping creature counts down. Negative counters for those pesky indestructibles. This deck can lock down 2 decks with relative ease using Contamination and Grave Pact. The main idea of two card combos was and still is a main staple to the deck. I continue to search for these. This way no matter what you draw in your opening hand, there is something that pairs well with it to cause damage or stunt the opponent in some large way.

Combos:

1. Blood Artist + Nether Traitor + Phyrexian Altar , or The Meathook Massacre.

2. Dark Depths + Vesuva or Thespian's Stage. Along with Hex Parasite or Vampire Hexmage

3. Maralen of the Mornsong + Ob Nixilis, Unshackled + Opposition Agent . Along with Scheming Symmetry, Field of Ruin, or Varragoth, Bloodsky Sire.

4. Contamination + Reassembling Skeleton .

5. Ashling, the Extinguisher + Shizo, Death's Storehouse .

6. Crucible of Worlds + Myriad Landscape .

7. Hell's Caretaker + Kokusho, the Evening Star + Nether Traitor .

8. Ashling, the Extinguisher + Dauthi Embrace .

9. Dictate of Erebos + Killing Wave .

10. Font of Agonies + Necropotence .

11. Phage the Untouchable + Torpor Orb .

12. Crucible of Worlds + Demolition Field

13. Braids, Arisen Nightmare + Reassembling Skeleton
